I miss forumfall
Now all we do is chill here with every MMORPG gamer, 90% who want to bash anything and everything to do with Darkfall because it doesn't appeal to how they see MMO's.
Reguardless of anyone's opinions, I love Darkfall, to me it is a great and a needed change to MMORPG's; Wow doesn't compete.
Why don't we, *gasp* talk about the game and not about all the failed server/billing issues.
What does everyone plan to do in game? PVP, smith, explore, etc
I want to try out some PvP while exploring the world. Later on down the line I'll be trying out the crafting system. Hopefully meet up with my clan and have some serious fun.

90% of the fanboys come here and think that 90% of the people here just bash the game. i would venture to say that 70% of those people are bashing aventurine and not the game or the ideas behind the game and 20% actually bash the game

I got to play for a few hours last night, and rather than stand around the starting zones complaining about sync, I explored. I ran for about 2 and a half hours East of the Alfar starting area, and found some pretty amazing things. Huge ruined castles with lifts. Abandoned farmhouses and villages. Shipwrecks, treasure chests, weapon racks. I ran into some giant but awesome looking mobs that would have kicked my ass. I made it all the way to Cairn's west coast before a minotaur hero finished me off in about 3 hits.
You know what, it was the most fun I've had exploring since Everquest.
This game has huge potential. I think its perfect for the audience it's aimed at. We're all just looking for another UO or Everquest to come along and suck us in. We don't want our hands held.
I miss the forumfall because:
1. The forums are loading faster.
2. Trolling is much more fun there.
And thank god for that. Forums are meant to talk about the game not. Not have every thread violated continuously like a small child stuck in church with Preist Dan.
Yeah, I miss the standard "go back to wow u noob" replies, too.

Quoted for truth. I agree with everything you said. I've been waiting for the excitment, the thrill of adventuring through a world, not being walked through it. Darkfall is the game i've waited years for, and dispite it's flaws it's the best thing out there for us kind of gamers.
I agree a lot with this poster. After almost 2 months in beta I knew this game has the potential to be the best mmo I have ever played.
I' have played a lot of video games in my days starting with browser based and muds back in the day
I also play in top-notch fps~rts~mmo clans so I really like to game as my indoor hobby.
The world is expansive, and ripe for player politics.
I have never, not once crashed while in beta,, the engine is solid.
Right now I just don't think aventurine has budget/hardware to make this immedaiately.
Unlike AoC and War (beta tested aoc for a few months; developers failed to deliver) I believe these developers have got what it takes.
I'll give them time, DW2 and steam keep me occupied. There hasn't been a great mmo (wow is a great game) since WoW was launched.
