How to bind something the Left_Control?

SzilviaSzilvia Member Posts: 8

I could bind any command, to any key or mouse button, but I wanted to bind something else then walk to Left_Control. Unfortunatelly it did NOT work. It did work Ctrl+I or something, but not for simple Control or Left_Control. Any idea how to do that? Maybe there is a file I could manually modify to achieve the same effect?

Thanks a lot.

P.S.: I don't wish to use a third party keyboard mapper if possible.

I would also be very interested in this as yesterday I tried to bind my right shift and ctrl keys with no luck.

At least it seems the problem is not from my part. I'm using a Logitech G15, and I had this slight feeling that might be the case, but I doubth.

Search for a file named "input_persistence.xml"

There you can edit it manualy. It is the only way right now to assign a simple Ctrl, etc... (was the same in beta)

I was searching for something like that, but can't find any ini or xml, and specially not the file named "input_persistence.xml". Would you kindly tell me where it is?

You should have searched your whole partitions, not only the DF installation.

Anyway, in Vista Ultimate 64 which I have, the file is located at c:users%USERNAME%appdata
    oamingdarkfallcharacter%some number%

    Én gondolom, hogy megfogod találni.

    Szép üdvözlet Bécsböl!
