Brannoc IRC update
i dont know if is already posted so here is goes

<Brannoc> As usual, forums won't be up until the game is, channel won't open till the forums are, etc

<Brannoc> And the big question on everyone's mind: "omg where are the servers" - All I can say is they're getting there.
<Brannoc> All of Aventurine appears to be awake and working on the issue, if I get an ETA or more information I'll give it to you.

One thing i always was curious about when it comes to launches like these.
Wouldnt it be better for them to say something like , we will reopen the game in 2 days and give you guys a 5 hour warning before we open up the game again.
Instead of this shit where people have been refreshing theyr server status for almost 30 hours and the game might open up anytime.
It would also show that they respect theyr customers in a way , and would atleast given me a good reason to thrust them.
We all know that sometimes fixing bugs might take some time , but nothing is worse than not knowing and in a competitive game like this a fixed eta would be better imo , even if the bugs was smashed sooner than the ETA.
( ofc free gameplay time for the lost time )

But...didn't he say the forums won't be up until the game is up? (which isn't very often from what I'm seeing. I think I see the cause of the problem.

Again, genius, no updates. I call information updates. Therefore, lack of information is lack of updates. Telling me something I already know is not an update, such as the ineptitude of Aventurine.

update on forums
The Stratics IRC server irc.stratics.com has numerous channels available for chatting about the game and the ongoing issues. The #Darkfall channel is currently moderated to prevent chatting so we may use it as an update method, however there are several other open channels such as #dfchat and #darkfall-tmp. The forums will remain closed until the game is fully available so that we may use this front page as a reliable update method as well.
