  Is there anything I need to run it? I went to the link but it just says "Error. Click here for details"

  And when I clicked it, it just says "There was an error running the application" or something

  Haven't used MIRC in ages but the help files explain it all. I know who woulda thunk it?

  Really, you don't learn from someone telling you how to do things, that is true carebear. You learn by making mistakes and rembering them so that you don't repeat them. LIke pre-ordering MMORPG's

  Edit: no OP I am not trying to be an ass, I just get sick and tired of people being too lazy to do things for themselves.

  Is there a way to turn off so you dont get a message everyime someone joins or leaves the channel?

  That link uses Java.

  Just download Java and install it and you should be good.
