If you expected a smooth launch and pre-order'd..your an idiot.
If you pre-ordered and though everything was gonna run fine...your a f'in idiot. Yes, i pre-ordered..but i expected this shit to happen....and i thought it would be actually worse..but to the point. EVERY mmo has a bad launch. WoW had a bad launch, AoC had a bad launch, damn even EVE had a bad launch. Everyone needs stop thinking that ANY mmo company releasing their first mmo would be able to pull this shit off (Bilzzard might be able to do it because they have experiance with wow). Calm down, play some other game on you computer and wait for the servs to come up. DFOTray works good for notifying me when they are up...should be somewhere on these forums. I know there is no excuse for them releasing a uncomplete game....but they had no money and were digging them selves a grave and needed money fast....
One think i do believe in, is that they should of never had problems with the account page....that shit was stupid, and i will admit to that.

LOL not every MMO game has their beta test extended by [at least] 3 days AFTER the game is released. In fact, I believe that Darkfall is the only MMO game to do something like this.

I knew it was going to be a disaster, but I didn't expect a 24 hour downtime and for them to miss the launch date. I figured it was just going to be laggy/crashing often.
Honestly they are fucking retarded about how they are handling this. I was fine for almost 2 hours yesterday morning before everyone synced out . All they need to do is leave the server up and reset it every hour and 90% of the people would be able to play. In the meantime they could work on a fix and everybody wouldn't be pissed cause most would be in-game and just getting dced once an hour. My 2 cents.
Wrong, if I recall correctly WAR gave free days too, and other companies have as well, its not Moses parting the Red Sea for christs sake.
Oh and its NOT in beta :} nice try.
It's one thing to expect a bad launch, but I don't know of many mmo launches that charge your credit card, and not unlock your account.

Sorry to say this people, but if your guild was not in perorder...you will not beat the rest of the guilds taht were. My guild was and we have a city (We used the treasure chests to make money). We did a legit way by knowing info for release day...our alliance has all the cities we wanted and is the biggest alliance with the most cities. (Not sure what the other guilds in the alliance did, but that doesnt matter to me).
Lotro launch went smoother than a smoothie. It's possible, but only when you have non-suck programmers on board.

Ya, but not much hype happened before the game (although i think they had a bigger turnout then DF).

The people who preordered were mostly beta testers, and ALL of them saw this coming, so its not a suprise to them.

NO only people the beta tested and bought and now bitch are that, if i bought something and got it home and didn't work and the company said it would fix it in a few weeks i would be mad too.. people have now paid for this mess and AV need to step up and get this working..
