lol wth. servers didnt even go up and then crash after 12 seconds. it went up just now though... only to get taken down cause they feel the need to fix the account issues AFTER bringing the servers back up for a few minutes..
Actually, the servers went up for about 10-15 minutes. Then they sent a message to everyone saying that the server will go down in 5 minutes for a quick server fix. Its misleading to say that it crashed.

I get a chuckle out of guys like bruticus who think that the fans are somehow laughable, yes the launch is rough as hell, but they just fixed the issue that caused the servers to be down, pretty fast when you consider how big of an issue it was....the game is still fun as hell
tomorrow all the trolls are gonna be like...."uh well Darkfall had a bad launch, its still fail" meanwhile the fans will be playing the ridiculously fun game we have been waiting for, with our free days added on to make up for the time wasted.

The difference between a crash and taking down a server unscheduled isn't what puts me off about this thread.
What gets me is the amount of schadenfreude going on in the forums. I don't get why people are happy about the problems going on.
I get people who paid and are frustrated they can't play, but some people are here just to throw salt on wounds.
