So Servers come up, I am instantly excited! OMG !!
Patch, go to log in, realize servers are down, check DF forums and I Realize I MUST have just been dreaming 5 minutes ago when they posted an update because now its not there anymore.

They brought the servers down and they will be up shortly.
They are fixing it for new people with new accounts.

I dont think thats what he meant, I think he was saying why would the game server being up and running have anything to do with them looking at why certain accounts are not activated?
They brought it down because apparently not everyone could log in.

What matters is not letting anyone in the game for 5 damn minutes only to bring them down 5 min later. WTF get your shit together and deal with the new accounts before you put up the damn server. With all these f@#$%@'n issue anyway wht the hell add more accounts now???? Let the damn server run for 12 hours make sure all is well then add the new accounts.

I think what he is getting at is what other game shuts down servers when new accounts are created. I don't know what system they've got but it seems weird to shut down the game to add new accounts. Unless the login portion of the server needs a patch for some issue, it doesn't make sense.
i had a log in issue.. i like them more now that they care to give us a same chance.. We preordered... we should get the same chance and same start you all do.

ya they're not adding more players, only the people that have preordered can play. We all preordered and we cant get in now cause of some stupid log in issues that weren't their before. im glad they took it down to fix

I Agree, I think everyone that has ordererd needs to be able to get in, but what I find funny is that they need to take the game server down to activate accounts, thats where people are getting a little confussed. I've never seen where a mmo had to take the game server down to activate an account.
