So I accidentially killed two poeple while the server was having sync issue yesterday. Consequently I am evil now and can't even bank my items so I dont lose them. What can I do so that I go good again? I'm sure I'll get flamed to hell for even asking this question but I'll risk it.

kill a racial enemy, or...delete character start a new one :P
I actually hunted down a dwarf and killed him and I lost 2 alignment points so I'm -4 now... I guess they have to attack me first? If I delete my char won't I lose the name?
what are you? race wise in game?

You lose 8 alignment per kill of a racial ally and gain 2 (if you gank him, another 2) alignment points for killing a racial enemy. You will probably use the name if you make a new character.

Sorry I giggled a little bit when you said that... lol! Seriously though was -2 before and am now -4 after killing him. Dwarves aren't allied with Mahirim so WTF!

wtf. so i didn't misread! it should have gave you a positive alignment or deredding. yeah thats a bug.
Guess it's time to go hunt me some more dwarves and test this out then... no loss I'll get it.
yep, something isn't right if you lost more allignment after killing a racial enemy. I never lost allignment in beta for killing racial enemies.
If you killed two people you should have dropped farther below than -2 anyways. I think your math might be off somewhere.
Either way, it sucks to be red early on if you don't know what you are doing and don't know where to bank and sell at yet. I would suggest rerolling but there's a good chance you can't pick that name again immediately.
Lets see,
you kill two of your own so that's -16 points. You started out at +10. You kill an enemy for +2. You should be at -4 right now I believe.
I was at +10 before I killed anyone, I guess because I finished two quests. idk but I am sure that I was at -2 before I killed him... Wait just hit me, 10 (2 quests) - 16 (2 allegiance kills) + 2 = -4.... Alright so maybe I wasn't.

LOL good job chaos! got me all wondering it's too late in the night for math damn it.
The quests should have nothing to do with your allignment score. Everyone starts out at +10 with a new character. That way, you have one kill you can get in without going red for that punk stealing on your goblin loot or jumping in front of your sword to turn you grey.
There are some quests in the game that send you off to kill other racial enemy players but when you unlock those quests, it will give you your allignment scores for those kills as well.
Man that's awesome! Can't wait to get to that point in the game... Now if only the servers would stay up for more than 5 mins.
