Why so many trolls?
Just out of curriosity, Why are there so many trolls and people who just hate darkfall? 3/4 of all the forum posts and comments I have seen on forumfall and other places have been "OMG DF SUX!!!!" Nothing constructive or comments as to WHY it "SUX"
So could all the trolls who lurk here answer this question...

Gee, what generally causes people to post negatively about a product? Hmm? A product is released (sort of), then people base opinions upon that experience and post those opinions...So what..what could possibly be the reason 3/4 (your number) of those people post negativly?

Okay, I will be perfectly honest with you. I have never played DarkFall yet, However the release date has passed. The game should have already been at all major retailers + Most Bugs resolved, ect.
When you Preorder something for those who did, You expect good decent customer service, Of course everyone has problem's, However darkfall disabled their forum's refeuses to answer anyones question's. Wont wipe the server possibly, and lets exploiters/cheaters get by with their exploited accounts, and characters.
Then they get a service problem where no one can preorder, and take it offline completely, and Fail to provide a working account website for everyone.
I think darkfall was a failed Launch, they need to scrub the whole operation, admit to everyone right now it is going to be down, Give us an estimated time on how much longer, and Wipe all Character Data off the server, Wait untill darkfall is offically released get a good billing system setup first step, Once it is working again, Open the doors to a great new game everyone starting off new.
Dark Fall needs to save their dignity and everything before it is too late, I mean seriously they have failed big times, and who wants to put faith, and trust into a company like this, I dont for sure. I dont care how big or small they are either, They are like Worms, vs Blizzard. Seriously its not about money, its about quality of service, Yes I know the developers have probabily put a lot of work into Dark Fall, But untill I see some promise, and make up thing's that make me interested including a all servers wipe, Then I wont be ordering the game myself, and neither will my real life friends who expected so much out of darkfall.

Its Like trusting NC soft all over again after they shut down Tabula Rasa, and other games like Lineage 2, which are pretty much Fail now, Now they are comming out with AION, which seems good but may fail depending on how they launch.

Warhammer Online- Lacks Character Detail, WOW is more detailed in some ways, was a big turn down for me.

well it's not 3/4 people who have played it hate it it's just that everyone who likes it is playing on it (well except me at the moment but i was just checking a thread i did yesterday)
My question is, Why so many Die hard Fanbois?
Game Clearly has Huge probs, along with every other aspect of the company yet the Fanbois come on here saying. "Whats wrong witht he game" lol I think they need more help than the trolls

You're both pathetic, and part of the problem. The trolls latched onto this game years before any experience was even available to be had. Theres actually LESS trolls now than there were 2 years ago. Explain that? Get over yourself

Personaly I say this, It was a preordered game, Therefore you are not suppose to be charged untill Product/service's are being Rendered. Now this is just me, but.
A. If they are not providing you service.
B. If they aren't banning your account for breaking the TOS/EULA.
C. If they didn't give you an option to Cancel, or even if the account page was down.
D. If they dont deliver your order within One week to your house.
You can contact your creditcard/debitcard company and put in abuse of product not being delivered and get a refund, of course they will deactivate your account.
#2 If they refuse you always have the option for a Lawsuite, and of course they would rather pay you $50 preorder then to be sued in a court or law, or even be tried to do this, as they would loose most likely given the circumstances of the lawsuite.
Aion has not been released in the US....It launched Nov 25 in KOREA....no one here cares about the Korean Release date. Release date for Aion in the US is set for fall 2009.....How can a game have 40 servers if it hasn't been offically released?
Because a few MMO's recently have flopped and pissed some people off. These people found friends (first time for many) online via a commonality... they felt they got screwed by MMO's. Now darkfall comes along, a fresh look at MMO, with a lot of people severely interested. Seeing some popularity with the indy game, these angry people right away latch onto this easy target to spew usually unfounded, unimaginite, and unintelligible remarks in hopes that people will respond to their thread, giving them 'hits' which translate to a greater sense of worth.
Basically, these people troll because they need attention and this, pathetically, is the best way they know how to get anyone's attention. It'd be sad if it weren't for the fact that we have to deal with these fucknuts.
You don't read closely, do you? In about every thread it is described in detail why the game in its current state and the developing company suck. This ranges from beta errors not fixed to total incompetence in business things. Just reread some threads about exploits and how they work, about the bugs in the basic engine (synch) about the way combat works at the moment and so on. If you find games perfect where you bash some defenseless mobs you should maybe finetune your valuesystem a bit.

oh oh, oh I get it. So the trolls, that spend hours and hours a day looking up any kind of information about Darkfall they can debunk, are the good guys.
From 2006 right up, sadly, until they couldn't hide from the truth anymore in January, idiotic trolls would try to "save" the community from this scam. Spamming every single thread that came up about people asking about game features, they'd spam that the game doesn't exist, its made with gmod, the website is a front, the offices don't exist. I am shocked and saddned by the levels some people went to to try to convince others that this game wasn't real. Every time the insane conspiracy theories were shot down, new ones would take their place. I think the worst was when people ran around saying that Darkfall DDOSed their own website to buy then time (ironically, they said Aventurine did it so they would have an excuse not to send out beta invites, but it was the same day that I got MY beta invite).
The trolls swarming around this game have always been sad and pathetic, it has no reflect of the game itself. I wonder how many would change if many of them realized they were just a by product of an angry Age of Conan dev that was trying to debunk this game in 2006. He was the first big troll, creating several accounts all over internet forums, calling the game vaporware, and even doing so on the Darkfall forums himself until his IP was tracked and he was forced to make a public apology (moron was doing it from the Funcom offices) but... many die hard trolls here will deny that even happened because they can't face the truth that they have no real reason to hate this game other than Funcom told them to and they're just following the trend.

You know, I never heard of that AoC dev thing before. Is there some sort of record of this? Not trolling, just find it funny that an AoC dev would be too busy trolling someone elses game and would explain why AoC was horrible.

You know what does reflect on the game though? Aventurine's inability to get the game fully operational 3 days after release. You know what else reflects poorly on the game? People being charged for pre-orders and not being able to play because of "Account is not active (#3)".
This company doesn't need trolls to reflect badly on their game, they are doing a great job of it themselves.
