Well here we are, my fourth day into launch and I cannot get past queuing stage at login and have only got to play this game for one hour. The extra 3 days are gone, and now I am starting to watch my 30 days tick down... I honestly want this game to succeed, and I would like to play it, but this is starting to test my patience to not even get the product I paid for with limited release due to there being too many people playing the game to allow me to login to the game. I am not saying this is a scam. It is just getting to the point of ridiculous when they give us 3 free days, use those up with server down time, and now I am still not playing during my 30 free days. Ah well cmon out of your holes are start with the QQ, troll, flamer nonsense...

I'm sure they'll start handing out more free time when this is all over with.
Really, did you expect anything different? If you did, you're an ignoramus.
They really need to start opening new servers because one purely isn't enough for the demand of the game. It's really silly of a company to start an MMO with one server that can hold 10,000 players maximum. 10,000? What if Darkfall had 11 million waiting to get in there? They going to increase the server limited to a few million?
It can't be that hard to start new servers considering they have already recieved quite abit of cash from other orders.
Boy am I glad that I avoided this fiasco. AoC all over again...
me - ' but I paid you 60 fuckin quid'
failcom - "yeah cheers that was a really nice meal we had with it while the janitor cleaned up the hamster"
adhdventurine - 'mate what a class idea i know how our launch is guna go'
Playing polished, lag free, feature complete games is carebear. Whining about a game you hate but still play is hardcore man!
Hindsight is always 20/20 mate. I have played every major mmo at launch since m59, and many indie ones as well and have always been able to play within the first four days. I fail to see how not expecting this compared to past experiences makes anyone a "ignoramus", but since you decided to hide behind a new account and namecall someone with your second post, then I suppose we all see what kind of person you really are mate.

Oh trust me dude.. Everyday you can't play.. Is another day free you'll get.
I know its the hardest thing in the world, but you have to be patient with it. When you try to log on, do it after you plan to go pop in a movie or something.
If yah get in, sweet tits. If not, ah well..
Worse case scenario is you're just beat. Quit and move on.
Im sure some EU TOS spells rape for any US signers of it.
Its best to let the EUs deal with the intial frustrations of launch.. Didnt you get the memo?
It don't matter if they're laughing with you or at you, so long as they're laughing.

You do realize the only reason they launched (if you could call it a launch) with one server was because they lack the funding for more then one server. The simple fact is they do NOT have the infrastructure to make this game successful.
One more point to make.. how do we know they sold 10,000 pre orders? For all we know they could have only sold about 2000 to 3000 preorders. No matter what the server cannot handle what they got.

*sees a bunch of fanboi's running over to set fire to my post*

I'm a lurker, not hiding behind a new account. I am nor fanboy, nor flamer. It just baffles me how you couldn't not see this coming from a mile away. I'm not going get on the bandwagon of describing how long I've been playing this gendre of game because mostly everyone here has a nice resume of past experiences so it makes no difference. Any mmo gamer should expect a rocky start for the most part, and given the signs before this release it should have been obvious.
servers now up for 5hours
Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009.....
