Hello!
Just as the topic says.
Im pretty sure as they open up new Orders tons of people will pop in and seeing as EU-1 already laggs and que they hopefully put up another server - EU-2.
My question here is: If this will happen, Are there any clans that will start playing on EU-2 instead?
I can tell you that Aesir, a big swedish Clan with around 70 + members will jump to the second server to get rid of the exploiters and get a fair start.
But we would like some competition, Are there any others moving over?
Thanks!

Unbelievable, Aventurine releases a pretty good approximate of what was UO at launch with all the fun and features. Now carebears are asking for Trammel already?
Playing: AC2
Played: UO, DaoC, Horizons, Ryzom, WAR, LotRO, Eve, VG...
You're living a dream world if you think this is going to have a second server anytime soon.
They are on life support right now.
This game is going to be dead within the next 2 months. Nevermind more servers.
What the FUCK are you talking about?
What the hell? How did my post make me carebear?
Im wondering if any other Clans thinking of starting on Server 2 as we would like some competition.
Just GTFO.
This is true, AV is broke and until they can get enough to hold 1 server then they will try for a second.. but give this time...let them see if there fan base holds..
It had potential, AV hasn't used it though.
ololololo

You forgot the DF fanboy pass code first < Protect DF at all cost > then you may type your message, you got hit with the troll feed bag.. sorry..
Trammel was PvE, the OP is asking for another server to open, not a PvE server.
What happens when the server reaches the max limit imposed on it, you going to push 20k players onto a 10k server? you open a new server ofc with the same ruleset to accomodate new players, the OP never suggested a PvE server option.
I don't think they are as 'broke' as everyone is suggesting. Those pre-orders gave them a nice amount I'm sure and it's still early days for Darkfall. All MMO releases I know of have had really dodgey launches.
Darkfall is owned by a company with roughly 21 - 24 workers. We need a hell of a lot more patience for such a small company.
I would rather hope they grow and exapand unlike most of you who seem to want them to go bankcrupt and fail miserably.
Wow, decent thread infected by MMORPGlings way too quickly.
Anyway, i'd really hope that once they open their 2nd server it's a NA server.
That's all.
It would be nice to see them success, but with this shitty PR and the customer treatment they sure wount survive, that's for sure.
Back to the topic:
If they open up new Orders they gotta be open up a new Server as the first one wount hold for all the new people.
Or the new orders could be limited again, letting 1 000 people get in.
first server isnt full yet
what else can they do? there feeding info throw there site to us and opolgizing the whole way about it
Best idea: They could sell their Company to Blizzard / EA to get some cash rolling and some nice comunication and also some PR.
EA / Blizzard got the hardware and both of them are lacking a game in this genre, Would be a good deal.
I thought you would be playing , now that the servers are up ?
Seems like they will try to get it right as much as possible with the one server before they open more EU servers. They plan on adding NA servers in august iirc. No point pushing for more servers or subs until they get this one right as much as alot of us would like to play right now.
Dude, that's like selling your soul to the devil.
But worse.
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
On we sweep with threshing oar, our only goal will be the western shore."
Dude, that's like selling your soul to the devil.
But worse.
Still for this Shit-Company it would be the only way.
if they want their game to success that's the way to go.
Aventurine already lost all their respect.

They haven't lost all their resepect. Things happen. It's normal life. Things were bound to go wrong somewhere, and unfortunately it went wrong rather badly for Darkfall on the 25th of February 2009.
I still have much respect for them as I know they are working their butts off and have thus far to improve the quality of the game before they allow more users in-game. It may be annoying waiting to get in this game but from what I have seen they have created an amazing and fun game.
I've played the Beta and I can tell you straight off, the game is not "all that".
It might be fun the first week but after that it's more like - "Hm, what to do? well nothing, back to macroing."
I believe it's either a game you will enjoy for a long time or a short time if at all. Clan cities, sea battles and just basic PvP anywhere in the world is enough to keep me intersted for quite some time. I think character customization is rather good compared to most other MMO's (I think AoC still tops them all so far though) and the race selection is nice, the game looks extremely nice also.
It all goes down to preferences. I would prefer Darkfall PvP over WoW PvP and I've played a lot of that for sure. It's hard to believe such a small company made such a great game, despite how long it has taken and still is somewhat.
It's the religous fanbois that will ultimately kill off their precious game and not even Aventurine.
I think City of heroes has the best customization. To bad it's too much of a grindfest for my taste.
ah TenSpotting, this is your what, 200th mmorpg.com account in how many years of trolling and you're still singing the "Darkfall will fail" song. and yet DF keeps on powering along.
tasos must really have fcut you to the bone when he fired you for you to go so.... mental.
hate to break it to you, but DF has been a massive success, so successful they can't keep up with demand.
see you on your next mmorpg.com account, lmao.
If they sold let's say 10K pre-orders (which I think they did, at least 10K), that would give them $500K+, which should be more than enough for them to buy another server or 2 and to even hire new people. They are far from broke, unless they were in debt before launch. And once they can handle the volume tens, if not hundreds of tousands more people will buy the game.
Playing: Darkfall Unholy Wars
Played: Darkfall, EVE, AoC, Ryzom, Ragnarok Online, GW2, PS2, Secret World, WOW, City Of Heroes/Villains, Champion Online.
