i preordered successfully but can't play
so i was a beta tester and never had any problems w/ the patcher... i then successfully preordered and have my guild is playing the game..
ever since the servers went live for the first time, i've been damned to hell w/ what appears to be some kind of patching bug. i have succesfully patched to 1.0.35 but the "normal patcher" keeps trying to patch again which is expected, but it doesn't work.
i seem to be the only person in the world w/ this problem and i'm so freaking angry. the patcher just refuses to finish it's patch. it always gets stuck on either data 0005 or data00017.
i've tried w botht the beta client and retail versions. i've done COMPLETE uninstalls w/ reinstalls... i even deledted the aventurine and cahpyon registrys.
please for the love of god, can somoene here give me some advice.
i'm late for work now, so i gotta run, ill try to post more details to my problem when i get home.
i've been trying everything i can think of for 2.5 days now, and NOTHING works. i've come so far to be defeated by this stupid patcher.

Protip: whatever files your missing, have a guildy transfer them too you via AIM. Or something. Or even set up an online file hosting account, and download the individual files in the patch seperately. Eitherway, if you run out of luck, I'll buy your account from you. I'd like to play lol.

you did repair?
start my documents -(kind of hidden map)appdatamap- roamingmap-darkfallmap-updatesmap-darkfallmap-installer exe to repair all data 1035 or later version?
Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009.....
In between WoW few months AoC few months and some f2p also all very short few weeks.
yes i've repaired dozens i've times, tried to do it at various stages just to see if i can get some different result..... but it did not help... i mean it seems to repair just fine, but it does not fix the problem.
i just don't understand, i mean i literally ahve tried everything short of a full format and windows reinstall.
any other computer/game geniouses have any ideas? i mean this can't be that hard, seems like something so simple to fix, and its freaking impossible.
It looks like the DFO forums are back up. Have you tried to do a search to see if anyone else is having the same problem? IF you have no luck, start a thread there, you MIGHT have better luck.
yea i noticed that. aobut time they are back up. i did start a thread there as well. ill try to keep both active in hopes of some luck. thanks though.
