I'm tired of reading all these glamorous accounts. Open up the store already. I can't imagine how pre-order's feel. But at least you had hope. Imagine people who couldn't get a preorder.

I thought they had already confirmed that they are going to stabilise what they have now for the next 14 days rather than keep everybody hanging on for an announcement about new sales.
Probably sensible although they will lose a lot of custom that way, including mine. I'll give them another few days to open up sales, after that I'm gone. I only like playing MMOs from launch otherwise you're always too far behind.
It's a wonderful feeling to be charged for something and not receive what you paid for... and no customer service to help fix the problems.. just 12hr updates that may or may not include something to help.
(and no, the chance of response from the support@ email is slim to nill.)

I've been following hte announcements thoroughly, via IRC, and everything. i've heard nothing of the sort, unless its a flame. Trust me.

If your desperate to be the best then maybe but even then there will ALWAYS be someone better then you, and anyways you could join a month from now and just happen to wander past a betaplayers body full of enough stuff to make you stronger then anyone who started in this first week.
Just remember that there is no "Stronger" then eachother in a specific way, there are hundreds of ways people outrank eachother.
Really, I doubt they will let anyone else in except for the pre-orders which got left behind int he beginning. I would be suprised if they open up the game for general subscriptions until they have at least one more server...which would be the smart thing to do on their part. In terms of MMO's...this seems to be more like Moderately Multiplayer Online game or Minimally Multiplayer Online game. As much as I am inerested in trying Darkfall out...my interest is about half of what it used to be.
When is the actual release? I have mildly been interested in this game for a while but it just seems like it has had all sorts of problems from day 1, can't be a good sign.

No ETA on the actual release. I suspect when they get back from holiday in a few weeks after spending all the beta testers money they will post something.

I love how they got away with pushing the release back by replacing beta testers with pre-order customers.
