If they sold let's say 10K pre-orders (which I think they did, at least 10K), that would give them $500K+, which should be more than enough for them to buy another server or 2 and to even hire new people. They are far from broke, unless they were in debt before launch. And once they can handle the volume tens, if not hundreds of tousands more people will buy the game.
The issue is the Darkfall servers aren't set up like most MMO servers. Its set up more like EVE servers. I think one of the more recent news posts said they're working to increase server capacity, rather than opening up a new server, but you can only do that so much.
Anyway, the servers are set up in a cluster, due to the twitch combat, massive world with no loading screens, its all a lot more complicated than a nice simple cop out instanced game like WAR or WoW. I hope they get some new servers up though.
Anyway, all the spewing aside - to the OP, we are considering moving to a second server if they drop one in. Mainly because half our clan simply can't get in yet, and starting together fresh would be fun.
Doubt it will happen any time soon, but if it does, sure.

Despite my sometimes pointless, yet funny, trolling I really hope that this game does well when it finally gets all of its ducks in a row. I like the concept, and I like the large open world. I would love to see them be able to increase server capacity by at least 5x though. When it, hopefully, gets servers set up in the U.S. I will definately give it a try. I'm sorry if my trolling has upset anyone, I'm just bored...lol
Imagine how fucked everythign would get when blizzard starts introducing 'battlegrounds' and starts appealing to the masses. Cookie cutter. They don't care about games, just money.

"Ok guys, for this acheivment we need to seige an enemy city with less than 5 people. Come on guys we can do this! lets earn that "A-Team" title!"
There are 3 types of people in the world. 1.) Those who make things happen 2.) Those who watch things happen 3.) And those who wonder "What the %#*& just happened?!"

Darkfall Travelogues!
It's speculation but their second (or third) server may be an NA server. This way eu-1 will empties and filled with eu-players.

And when we got more women on the team, it was like No, no, no. We need puppies and horses in there.
