I'm sure the age range will not fall into any of those margins and will be quite varied like most MMOs. I'd say main range would be 14 - 35 with some older and some younger.
that group should be happy, i'm closin in on 23 and i'm feeling like my life is coming to an end.
i somewhat miss the times when i was around that age, no worries, livin' home, playing games, spending time outside just hanging with friends doin' mischief, first encounters with the opposite sex, etc. haha.. but maybe it wasn't as good as i like to remember. .. sry. back to topic.
I don't care what the actual age-range is. I care about maturity of the players. And so far, it hasn't let me down. Despite the way everyone acts on the forums and trolls and tries to be top nerd, I've seen nothing but helpful people. Questions get answered almost as soon as they're asked, people are genuinely nice and for the most part intelligent. I've seen very few people being pricks about anything, which surprised me considering the type of game this is.
I don't know about the other races, but I've been playing Maharim and hanging out in the Racial Alliance tab. It's refreshing.
Darkfall is probably just a scam to get all our credit card info.
By the time everyone figures it out they will be on some nice island.
Evidence suggests that some people may never figure out when tihngs are looking like scam. They just keep entering different CC info...
Anyone fancy going into MMO development. I just need someone with photoshop skills and a 3D modeller to make some nice videos with the words "you are free" captioned over them
I think the age is probably pretty low (below 20). Most hardcore pvp players seem to be very young, in my opinion. I'm sure there are exceptions, but I mean the vast majority. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that. At my age your reaction time is a bit slower..

LOL! Hey, I'm older than you and my erection time is just fine!
in the long run DF im sure will end up having a mature client base than most mmo's. my reasoning is that many younger players have only had experience on the new wave of mmos that have been around recently. what i guess would be termed hand holding mmos where your given clear instructions for what to do. i think your average WOW fanboi will play DF for about 10 mins b4 uninstalling.
The thing i love about DF is the fact that its more like the old school mmos that i was bought up on. DF is going to appeal to all us old timers who get all maudlin when we think about the good old days of EQ and UO. i think the modern day MMOer (ie: the young uns) simply wont have the patience for it.
I may be wrong but time will tell

The age polls on DF forums indicated that the average age was close to 18-20, if i remember correctly.

From 95% of the posts I have read here and on the DF forums when they where working I would say 12-15.

well mature people is somewhat linked to the age... not always, but most.
15~25..! People who want to use their fists instead of all their skills to play a game.
