Temporarily sold out...of what?
Ok I must be missing something here. I have been trying to by the game for 4 days now. I know they are having all these server issues and billing issues or whatever but the "Temporarily sold out" message is getting old. Sold out of what? We know it isn't copies because the client is downloaded. So what are they sold out of that prevents me from making my order?
If I can't by this game before the weekend is over...I won't ever buy it. 
Please read my folowup post in this thread before yelling at the crying ediot. I was clearly pissed when I typed the original post and my other post describe what I was trying to get across a bit better.

They have not fixed alot of preorders yet so don't expect to buy it anytime soon.

This is done with every single MMO actually. Even ones sold in stores. However many they print, is how many player slots are available.

I can't believe they opened only 1 server with the amount of following the game has... or had. I'll gladly start on a new one if they open it soon (and after fixing AI exploits).

They are sold out of a non working game. There is a great demand for non working games, so they are hard to get in to.
But don't worry, they will eventually let you pay $53. Then you can not play the game like everyone else.

What is intelligent about that? If they had the shops open then they could sell accounts. Which in turn would give them an idea on how much server space they need to buy and setup. Right now all they know is that they need "more". And opening the shops and letting us give them some money would help them buy the server upgrades they need!
Another good reason to keep the shops open is so they could let people commit. If they would have let me make my order on the 25th or earlier, I would be upset I couldn't play "YET". Implying that I could have at least something to look forward too since I have already commited to playing since I got to purchase an account. But...I don't have a copy and instead I get to watch this chaotic mess they are calling a launch which gives me time to ponder reasons why NOT to buy this game.
The game looks awesome. Posted reviews by people that have been lucky enough to play sound like they are enjoying it during the brief time of stability they have had. I want to join them just as many others do. But my eagerness is fading as they continue to fail in letting me even buy the game, much less play it.
They are out of room, spots are sold out.
And it so juvenile to say that "if i cant have it now ill never buy it!!!" it really makes you sound like a little kid. Besides we all know it is not true.
What irks me is that they don't have some way to 'reserve' or at least put in a ticket that as soon as it becomes available, your credit card gets charged and you get a key in the mail.
It would save time, and there would be less whining and satisfaction if people didn't have to check back daily to see what the exact date of the sales will be. Imagine you waited 4 days for this and then when you go out for dinner the new sales are up, an hour later you come back and they're sold out again. I don't blame him for being angry about this.
THAT'S why people are freaking out so much. Because they may miss the opportunity to get the game and have to wait another week if they go out and do something else.

Yeah thats true. I was in beta but didnt get a pre-order but ill wait a month to try and get one. If i don't get in by then Ill spend my money on some other game and see if a NA server opens in the future. Sux cause I want to be playing with my beta guild thats ingame atm.

You, and every single other person who reads this post.. knows you will buy the game regardless. So dont bother expressing your frustration with messages like "if i cant buy this game before weekend is over.. i wont ever buy it:/" because the dev team arent listening to your posts, and the players here dont give a shit if you buy it or not. Not to mention there are about 1000 other threads of people expressing their anger in childish forms.. its getting old, repedative, pointless.. and shows 1 thing - u have nothing better to do except wait for this game, so the only person you should be angry at is youself.
it is because the people running this "company" really must be retarded, and I really do mean that. The system you describe, as others have, is how all PRE-ORDERS ( yes I know most releases do it in 1 hit, this is a staggered release but principle is the same, secure a copy before hand - mind at ease ) work except for Adventurine.
These guys put a pre-order out just days before the release date for an undisclosed amount of spaces( please say if you know the actual number ) on a first come / fastest F5 first serve basis and then the rest of the fans can swivle on their middle finger. As you rightly suggest, if you are not sat infront of your PC, hitting f5 during the next "release stage" you can once again ..... swivle.
It seems Adevturine couldn't organise a bun fight in a bakery. Their website has not been updated since January 22nd some 5 weeks ago, even though they have reached the zenith of their project for the past decade. Their forums are still locked down, even though the game is now "running well", and there is nowhere to actualy buy, pre-order, or even browse for their product to buy on their "official" web site.

Totally agree on this post...except "the only person you should be angry at is youself." It is also partly because of the company and everyone knows this...it happens with every game, every company and it's a process of error and fix.

Yeah, I clearly typed this while I was at my peak of anger that day. Just so tired of that damn "temporarily sold out" message and obviously I really want to play NOW! :P I do have followup post in this thread that describes a bit more clearly what I was trying to get accross. I was angry and I was rushed as it was time to leave work so I just blurbed some anger out and submitted.
Anyway, I know the devs won't see this and I know other players don't care if I don't buy it. I was simply venting, man. I must admit I felt much better after hitting submit even though I knew it would have NO effect on things other than making me look like a crying ediot.
But in all seriousness, I am losing my eagerness to play as each day passes. There used to be lots to be hyped about but the growing list of faults have REALLY slowed down the hype momentum.
After living through a full day trying to get preordered, getting a confirmation mail - then getting declined on two different perfectly good cards with no record of any such declines?
We are right to be angry about it.

Some folks have made it in, some folks have not - through no fault of their own and entirely through Aventurines stupidity in keeping the billing in house.
They don't get a pass on it.
Saying AV is out of server space is ridiculous.
They aren't out of space, they simply cannot handle any more players.
I know this sounds like it's the same thing, but it's not. The first sentence implies AV is doing what they can with limited hardware capabilities. But, the truth is the hardware is doing what it can with the dev's limited abilities.
It is entirely possible to launch new server clusters in a single day, especially with such an influx of income.
By the way, I'm not a hater or a troll, I'm eagerly awaiting the launch like everyone else.

Thats a blatant lie or you people are completely clueless. MMOs do not print for avaiable slots. They speculate. This game has no excuse. It had no budget, no funding and you were all warned early on about it. They cant open another server because they are dirt poor and need the first wave of peoples money to get another one. They couldnt make cd's because they are dirt poor and needed your money first.
This game is going to fail horribly because they have no money. I cant believe people put up with waiting in line for hours and then login to epic fail. Expliot or be a non-factor. Graphics are trash, gameplay is trash, left click into infinity. It never ends! Why are people so slow in the head?
They should setup a "backorder" option (which it looks like they might actually do). However, not until they can get their ordering site up to snuff.
This is probably the only responsible thing Aventurine has done with the launch - limiting orders.
