Gamespot or Gamespy?

Hey,

I am thinking about subscribing to either Gamespy(Fileplanet) or Gamespot but I would like to hear some user opinions first. Which one's better? image

    I dont know about what they each offer, but i hate gamespy with a passion. Gamespot generally has good info on it, and members get access to more videos and stuff like that...

    In the least I would go for the Fileplanet subscription.  I have it and LOVE it.

    Not only do I get a Subsciption to Computer Gaming Wolrd magazine with it, but Ive been in coutless betas for Single and Multi player games, can download any file I ever thought I would need.  The transfer rates ive gotten when downloading some files has been nothing short of Insane, 2-3 Mps rates, Ive gotten 1+ gig files downloaded in 15-20 mins and less!

    But the betas and demos I can get instantly off the site have more then paid for the subscription ive paid as its saved me from buying games I probly would bought and not enjoyed.

    I would also have to say fileplanet....i subscribed to gamespot as well and fileplanet is def a better use for your money. with fileplanet i cap at d/l at around 387 plus as mentioned b/f you get tons of betas not to mention all the demos, mods and patches with are now running around 500mb..

    I use Fileshack(short lines, decent speeds), Filefront(normally no lines), and 3D Gamers(Bittorrent). For news, I use both Gamespot and IGN. And of course, MMORPG.com ::::02::.
