i feel kinda stupid for asking this but......HELP!!

in World of Warcraft

first off it's almost 3 am so please excuse any spelling errors im norwegian were borne stupid :)

anyways i need a littel help on one thing in wow, community in game haven't been exactly help full.

anyways it's about the chat system, i can't seem to chat in the general chat i can only chat in the small local area around me (white text, general has some red pinkish thingy)

i have looked trough all chat options but i can't seem to get it turned on.

i was thinking my text shows up as white to be recognized but a few caracthers around me also chated white so that got me thinking again.

anyways can someone please help me with this embarecing problem?

    WHY WHY WHY does it allways have to be the easy things i can't understand :)

    /chat or /chathelp brings up a small list of chat commands that might be helpful as well, such as joining and leaving channels.  Alot of times I will leave teh general chat channel by typing /leave 1 if it interferes too much with the local chat.  Play on!

    Right-Click on the general tab at the top of the chat window. A menu should pop up with a ton of options. You can create more than one chat window and move them anywhere on the screen. You can have chat windows dedicated to just your friends. The one part I don't like about the chat windows is that I haven't found a way to resize them.

    LOLZ, I had the same problem, actually. I couldn't figure out how to speak in General for the life of me. When someone finally told me how, I felt like the world's biggest idiot! hehehe

    Hope you're having fun in-game. I can't believe the attention to detail and everything, this game is amazing beyond the scope of words- take care image

    thanks for all your help i appreciate it :)

     

    otto im having a lot of fun in game, never played as a hunter/ranger class before so im having a lot of fun with that, easy to solo play woth aswell.

    has anyone found a way to resize those windows?
