Do I distribute points into my skills or is it done for me?

I can't seem to find a way to Distribute points into my characters abilities and skills. I have this skill which drains life and I want to upgrade it but I cant seem to do that. The points I can distribute seem to only go to things like Running speed and or Recovery while resting. Is there a way I can add points to my skills and add points to my HP and things like that or does the game do it Automatically? Do I have to be a certain level to do it?

Once you are level 10 you get feat points which can be spent to enchance your character like they are in WoW; however, you never just up grade spefic skills (outside spending feat points) or buy them like you do in WoW. As you level you'll get enhanced versions of the skills you already have puls learn new ones.

Sounds like your getting feat points and skill points mixed up. At lvl 10 you'll start getting feat points to spend on your feats in the feat tab. you'll gain skill points to spend on your skills(running, hiding, bandaging etc..) in the skill tab every level. You do not have to buy new spells and abilities/combo's you'll learn them automatically at level ups and also through your feats you can spend your feat points on. Check the manual for more info.
Also there are feat builders that will help you with a build you will enjoy.
