Hotmail - 250 MB storage?

um... I had used up 60% of my storage and now (without subscribing to anything at all) I have 1% of 250 MB. Anyone have an idea of what's going on?

    yea that just happened to me a couple days ago also, I was gonna send an email to MSN..but then decided not to

    they made the announcement some time ago that they were going to up the storage amount you get for free, they wanted to stay competitive with yahoo's 100MB free storage for thier mail accounts. So 250MB is correct for Hotmail now.

    Yup, Tolerance is correct. Microsoft has recently been undating everyones free hotmail account to 250 MB seeing that other free email services offer WAY more than 2MB. You can read a little about it here: http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=19242

    yup, this is MSNs counter to GMail.  But Gmail isn't in anyway special.  I've beta tested it for a while, nothing big.  Just like any other free service with larger mailboxes, plus annoying ass ads.
