hello

i am back to ffxi after some trial tries. enjoying so far, thus controls imo are horrible for playing in a laptop even using compaq conf

i have just bought a pad and a new life opens for me ;)

my question is, once lvl cap, how is high lvl life in ffxi ? "raids for bosses?" "dungeons?"

what is high live like apart of re subbing and ballista?

all i know is alot of endgame has been added. also you have the lvl sync so when not doing anything you can always help the community .

FFXI has a lot of support for end game. All of their expansions include missions to do. So you've got 4 expansions wortth of cutscenes and battles to go through. Some have early level 30ish content, but the majority of it is 75. They're are dozens of Notorious Monsters at endgame to fight. Bascially a raid. They've got Dynamis and Conquest. Which allow players to travel to another dimension (Dynamis) or back in time (Conquest) and take part in a massive battle with Beastmen. I've only tried Dynamis, haven't had time to relevel to 75 to try Conquest. I personally loved the endgame Squarenix has for FFXI. And I mean if things get boring, you can just level one of your jobs without having to make another character. The new leveling features they've come out with make the game easier. Level sync and the fact leveling to 75 has become a lot easier with experience rings and a decrease in teh amount of exp to reach 75. Those updates were awhile back. Then theres always PVP. Ballista and the other one, that I happened to forget the name of.

starting a new job is not really fun for me, i love high end content in terms of challeging with my party/raid big bosses and so on, and reading your answer seems there is, so cool ;)

Depends on what you think endgame is. There is meriting your character/job, high level crafts, raids, Campaign, Besieged, Dynamis, mission/quest fights and basically anything you can do as a high level that you couldn't when you were lower. There are a lot of things to do on the way up as well, so don't overlook those either.

Yeah. There's tons of videos out there. If you really wanna find out all the information you can visit this website.

It is what I used to use when I played, but I'm considering starting back up. They've got thousands of videos in their forum section and on the left panel of the home page is basically a lot of FFXI's features from beginning to end game.
