I am a retired, 63-yr-old 3D-VR teacher/artist who creates and shows his Science Fantasy worlds and characters in 3D CGI just for the love of it, free of commercialism ("the great escape").
Here, the chat aspect is secondary (though innovative) to the exploration of virtual reality ie. one can ride an aerocab, a whale, a giant mosquito, or be a sardine-- an ideal getaway for the avid RPGer to relax in real time.
There's no registration -- explore it at leisure world by world -- friends of the medium sometimes add theirs -- a few people come exploring every day, but encounters are rare.

Hi mate.
Nice work. Anyway I don't think is ready for public consumation, first.. Is too much!... most people is not ready for that much!.. then theres how to show your stuff. Like a teacher, you must start with small, and grown bigger in details. Theres also something to be say about a cristal clear website. The style of your website is somewhat outdate. You must update the website to current web standards. We are not in geocities anymore :-) I think you have interesting models ( reminds me or Galactica 9999 , that is a anime classic ) but the way you show it.. humm.. I think will not work.
Baackground has to much noise. You need someone that knows a little about art to help design your website.
Thank you, at least one of you, it seems, for visiting 3D Merbotica (so promptly) -- yes, I do have to turn down the sound of bubbles from the tortoise movies playing there - but can't you adjust your own audios?
You know, I do agree with you about X-ROBOTICA.CA being "too much"-- even the functioning transponder above (a partnered effort with a programmer) reflects an incongruency in the art-styles. Initially, we were going for a retro 50s look to reflect Fritz Lang's Metroplis, but then the Av-Units evolved over the years into Manga / Anime entities and other motifs kept creeping in-- so, I think of it a 3D fantasy collage.
And, after 10 years of development, XRCA is brimming over with too many impressions, to the extent of overkill, and without the name, the game, or the box, it's not too engaging. It also lacks romanticism, heroics, violence, and other types of appeal we old geaks find detrimental. And, for along time, it didn't look much like anything else anyone has ever seen.
Here is a review by someone who has some understanding of the medium: vrml-x3d.ning.com/forum/topic/show
And, I must admit, I can't think of an attractive non-violet game scenerio for XRCA-- so, since my partner and I don't want to promote violent gaming per sae, I guess X-ROBOTICA.CA will have to stay as is: layed back, cluttered, and retro. 3D Geaks Welcome!
Oops, reading your comments again, I realized that you may have not even entered the 3D venue, but, instead just peeked at the 2D website. Our monitor recorded that one OMGWTFPL0X from the USA visited 3D Merbotica for a minute and a half using the Av-Unit Freda (good choice!) -- was that either one of you?
