I remember battling LoD on UO Baja for about four years straight back in the day. I was even briefly a member before I quit that game.
Unfortunately this game doesn't look all that appealing to me. The combat videos I've seen from this game do not look strategic or at all interesting. I'm sure I will at least try it at some point, but I have to say I'm not impressed at this point...

I was indifferent leading towards positive when this game was released. After so much drama I assumed the game must be good.
After watching this I do not plan on purchasing. The combat looks horrible. Its simply a click fest. I see no strategy possible here. This will be the unbeatable strat of this game... u guys ready? Get 3 people with bows and shoot passerbys. MINDBLOWING... then loot their body using a different looking inventory screen.

Halo appears to have much superb combat here. This appears to be a crappy FPS with crappy gear options. Why would I buy this, when I dont like FPS?

As far as art style and direction goes, they are non-existent in this game.
All the players in these videos are newbies and thus aren't using skills that force them to do more than LMB spam. None of this vids show spells exploding and killing off enemies and teammates, or knocking people 20feet back. Wait a month before judging the game's mechanics

Games had a pretty crappy and rocky launch...but imo its here to stay. I think 6 months from now DF will be kicking major ass for pvpers.
