It amazes me how people actually think this game is going anywhere but the bottom
Honestly.. I can't imagine who in their right mind would actually think that this game has any kind of future at this point. The game is a totally featureless, contentless, unpolished lump of code. There is absolutely nothing to do in this game excep run around and PK people like a mad man. How soon do you think people are going to be bored to death paying $15/month to do that? 4 weeks? 8 weeks? It WILL happen eventually.....
Not to mention that everything is totally unbalanced and exploitable... Cheats/macros....
This is what they managed to produce in almost a DECADE.
Has promise? Wha?
Wait until the "newness" factor wears off.. I give it 6 weeks.

Lol the reason why they sold out their daily copies is because they produce 5 copies a day, not because of the game's success.
Give it 10k+ a day copies like any decent mmorpg, put that shit in stores, and u'll see what happens.
Oh but, i think it's impossible... The racoon producing the copies wouldn't be able to cope up, they'd have to hire a mongoose to go faster, and that's outta Aventurine's reach.
Seriously, when u see the quality of games being released this year, like Fear 2, Killzone 2, Empire total war, or even indy games doing single player RPG like Drakensang and u see this kind of crap attracting feral fanboys, there's only ONE conclusion :
MMORPGs are a drug, and their addicts are total fanatics.
Go spend ur cash in a shrink instead of that IMO if u really think this kind of crap is the bomb.

Good news is that darkfall is best mmo out there since uo and was definately worth the 6 years idling/waiting here, now I can finaly start posting

People keep saying "but the gameplay"... really? The wooden shitty spam/bunnyhop fest? randomly swinging away, 1/2 the PvP is against bots/macroing AFKers, and that not even taken into account the completely broken, hacked client with no where near enough staff to police it...
Yeah, it will be a slow lingering death, but of course they will still keep selling out because people still wanting to play it now will take the many weeks other are playing just to get in, and as people get in others will be quitting, and these noobs won't know what hit them till they get a hacked char camping them.
