I was indifferent leading towards positive when this game was released. After so much drama I assumed the game must be good. After watching this I do not plan on purchasing. The combat looks horrible. Its simply a click fest. I see no strategy possible here. This will be the unbeatable strat of this game... u guys ready? Get 3 people with bows and shoot passerbys. MINDBLOWING... then loot their body using a different looking inventory screen.
I think the video speaks for itself. I do not feel the need to write a detailed argument on the so many levels this game fails on. Halo appears to have much superb combat here. This appears to be a crappy FPS with crappy gear options. Why would I buy this, when I dont like FPS? To everyone that said DARKFALL was amazing.... I have lost all trust in your opinions on video games. You guys simply lied.

Actually to the both of you, I am not a fan boy. I haven't even played the game yet. I simply will make my own opinion over time, then have some videos feed my opinion to me.
For saying not one skill was used (because they're all lowbies in-game right now), the PvP looks pretty intense. Nice vid. ^^

no advanced skills were utilized in the video. just whatever the basic attacks are, were used. these are ingame character skills, not player skills. based on knowing that, the original quoted stated that it still looked pretty intense.
now, would the plastic surgeon be using player skills, or ingame character skills? how exactly would you put the "boobs inside out"? it's a bubble of saline stuffs, they don't fill it up, they make some incisions and slide them in.
seriously, if you're going to troll, at least attempt to make sense.

Anyway, there is skill involved in melee, its just that if you don't know what you're doing, melee will seem retarded (though compared to archery and magery, melee basically takes no skill). Though this game is incomplete in nearly every aspect.

/facepalm, skills would make melee SO much more interesting since there's only a max of four of them (some weapons only have 2), and nearly all the skills are useless until grinded up way high.

Considering there's so many DF games out on Youtube, etc. I think it's safe to say that Darkfall's Advertising doesn't reflect their artstyle.
More importantly, we seem to have been mislead by pre-release screens about DF's graphic quality.

Take away the music track and leave just the in-game sounds effects and it would have been even worse.
