The interface

in Everquest II

Is it just me, or is this interface a step backwards from the original EQ one.....

are there any decent mods out there yet ?

    I love the interface.  I think its a step ahead by all means.

    I personally like the interface. You can pretty much rearrange it any way you like. I love the fact that you can have more than 8 spells in your keys now! The only thing I see that they could have implimented, is the ability to click on yourself and target yourself, instead of always having to hit F1.

    You can, It's an option to be able to click yourself in 3rd person.

    Another thing, I just wish you could resize thetool bar so that the button were smaller. It would be nice to be able to put two next to each other at the bottom without having to resize my desktop.

    One thing I really like is the chat box disappears when no one is talking.  I dont know if any other game does this but I have never seen that before.

    You can! in the options there is an option to enable yourself clickable in 3rd person, i dont remember where but its there, probly under user interface or controls :)
