hehe, i know its like pay 2 beta.. but ive been waiting for so long.. so im happy, im not sure how many they took in, but it seems the overall time that the shop was open was alot longer than last night... could be due to their servers crashing last night, dont know.
oh ye and a tip for everyone who didnt get lucky, when you have typed in the 3 digits from the back of your CC, and you get the "service not available" screen, you can F5 all you want without getting 10 min ban, windows will ask you if you are sure u want to refresh and tell you that, if you are buying something you shoudnt refresh, just click ok, and let it refresh again, it wont buy mulitiple accounts.. helped for me atleast.

I tried to see if they had solved yesterdays problems since there was obviously so much negative feedback. it was imediatly aparent that they hadn't and that they don't give a shit. so I stopped and went and played some tf2, instead of pointlessly sitting for a couple hours spamming F5 like everyone else.
there no point them trying to sell or us trying to buy until they get more servers.

Creating an artificial shortage is NOT even close to the law of supply and demand. It is ignorant business practice and in some jurisdictions patently illegal.
I have to ask, just how much is AV giving you fanboi shill trolls to post these inane ignorant type remarks in almost every thread? A free game account or just a cheap whore reach around?
this, people buying it now are kindof dumb/blind fanbois, the game isn't in launch state, and even buying it to "get ahead when the game becomes good" isn't a good excuse, since you can just start out on a new server when the game becomes professional looking in a few months. I was in beta, and most people in beta will agree that until the mmorpg.com interview, we thought the game was going to be delayed for atleast 1 more month, b/c there were so many things unfinished.To our suprise, they actually launched the game unfinished (though they may be just continuing the beta b/c they ran out of money and could no longer support a free beta.)

Er, you might be the one showing your ignorance. Creating artifical shortages is common practice, in everything from automobiles (Scion limits the number they'll make every year) to gaming consoles (WII's have been hard to find for 2 years)
The toy industry constantly does this, and many a parent (myself included) has battled to find this years hot toy for my children.
There are no laws against it unless you collude with another firm to depress the entire market. So while Scion is free to limit their production, they are not free to contact Cooper and agree to both hold down production to keep the price for mini cars inflated.
Aventurine strategy isn't a bad one, unless they carry it past the point where the potential player base gives up on them.

Tell that to the diamond people in South Africa. Now I'm not quite agreeing that it was a successful launch, I think he was speaking mostly tongue in cheek, but saying that controlling supply isn't a sound business practice is pretty ignorant.
