in Darkfall

So I have been trying to find some info out and all the posts are full of negative @$$ hats so I will ask on a new thread and hopefully some ppl playing will awnser before it goes down the tubes.

Is it FPS style? I am not a big fan of that veiw so was wondering.

Is it really skill based? that and the group PVP are what makes me want to go buy it.

Can I buy it? I hear dif. reports on this. In the US if it matters.

Lastly I am more of a fan of group PVP over the gank fest PVP allot of games have. No problem with free for all just want there to be more of a guild v guild type of thing most of the time.

Lastly a quick thanks to all the people who stay positive about MMOs and pass on good info on boards like these.  I love MMOs and want them all to succeed even if I dont play it.  The more money that MMOs make the more new ones that come out till they make my "perfect" one.

    It's in the first person view when your casting spells and shooting a bow and third person when meleeing.

    There are no levels so yes, this game is skill based.

    So when I start casting It will go into 1st person then back to 3rd?  I like that

    Exacly. You will get used to it after a while and after some time you will not imagine how it could be something else.

    After playing Darkfall I will not play any mmorpg with auto-targeting.
