Don't nerf Rank?

So annoying, if not signing on for like 1 week you lose 2 ranks. Please just keep it perminant.

    hehe i lose a rank if i don't sign in for a couple of days... but thats having 5 stars i guess... when i post every single day i get up to 5 starts, when i don't appear for 2 or 3 days i am down to 3 stars...

    but who cares? having a bigger rank doesn't make you any cooler or more popular..

    infact what it means is you have nothig better to do than post on a forum all day every day....

    ... so that explains why my rank was so high when i had a broken leg and why its now at 3 stars when i only have time every couple of days or so to check posts.

    Don't worry about it... its not going to affect your life in any big way.. and if it does, mb you need to rethink ur life a little bit hehe.

    And ratings don't matter? Someone gave away a WoW beta invite based on the user having 5-stars. So they mattered in that case. image

    Well i won a total of ZERO contests when i had a broken leg an a perminant 5 star raiting... and ZERO contests with the 3 star ranking i have maintained since going back to work. But i think thats kinda cool about the 5 star WOW contest.

    I do think the ranks go down a lil bit quick... but it really doesn't bother me weather i have 1 or 5....

    Its more than annoying--I don't log in for awhile because i'm playing games & find I can't even rate the games I've been playing---ridiculous set-up--needs changedimage

    Hmmm...so does that mean participation in these forums is going to drop drastically when WoW and EQ2 are released? image

    hehe the guy who said that has got 1 post... I don't see how he could have much of a rank anyway...

    and yeah i suppose forum participation will go down a fair bit. Unless ur trying to find something out about that game it is very unlikley you will be posting for a while... but I am sure everyone is going to want their opinion heard on it... and there will be a billion flame and praise posts.

    EQII sucks btw.... its a shame, cos i loved EQ
