Total NOOB questions...

Well I've got my copy, but I have not installed it yet. I'm still doing some research... First off what do you guys think of my system specs, I'm not very techie, but this is what I know of;
p4 2.4ghz
Kingston pc3200 DDR SDRAM 1024
ATI Radeon (all in wonder) 9800 pro 128
80gig hard drive

Approximately what settings will I expect to have/should use in the game, based on what I've got? I've also heard that some ATI cards are having issues, just want to see if that's true...

About the game... Are there just two cities in the whole game? Aren't there any other towns or small villages? I'm looking for a magic wielding charecter, that can also hold it's own in combat, is there such a thing?

That's it for now. TY.

    There are 2 starting cities. In general, yes, there are two cities around which everything revolves, however each city is built of about 7 - 8 separate zones (that's big!) and each has it's unique look and feel depending on the inhabitants, so most of the time you'll refer to districts rather than the cities themself. Aside from that there are small outposts / settlements with NPCs, some quests and merchants scattered around, but most of the player interaction, facilities and all that is in those two cities.
    As far as magic weilder with combat abilities, I'll go with the Fighter archtype and at level 10 select to become a Crusader. But in reality, all characters in EQ2 have magic of some sort, some have direct spells and other special "abilities".

    Your computer will run it just fine. I had issues with my p4 3.0gig 9800pro 512 meg pc2700 mem. Went out last night and grabbed another 512 meg, and the game runs pretty smooth now even in the city of Qeynos.

    I am set on high performance, but kick it up to balanced when I am in say Antonica. Works fine.
