i am pissed OFF
i play dfo from first day and like player i can "tank" bugs, unbalances, server crashes but i cant "tank" cheaters i dont talk about afk-macro miners etc i talk about ppl that TELEPORT ON THE MAP and use speedhacks(infinite stamina)
i reported ppl but i still dont see them banned

Nothing new in a just released game. Give them a month to stop it with fixes and bans, if it isn't fixed by then you should considering getting something else instead.

You can't possibly be telling the truth you troll, I saw fanbots say, "I reported some guy I saw speedhacking/macroing and Aventurine banned him soon after! That's a bit of a blase remark about quite a serious in-game issue.
If ppl are affected by hacking and no immediate action is being taken while fixes are being worked on, what kind of message does that give to those that are doing the hacking?
Perhaps for ppl to take this more seriously there really should be about 50 % of the games population speed hacking then perhaps you won't get such a flippant response from ppl who are happy to sit by and let other ppl suffer.
It's all well and good supporting a game, but don't forget your fellow players as-well.
I'm pretty sure that Tasos has publicly said that hacking is a-ok. Probably because he can't do anything about it.

there's truth in it though, youtube vid or it didn't happen, and also you need to take perspective into account. This guy isn't any more credible than the blind fanboi that said devs banned the hacker he saw.
And on perspective, it really doesn't matter if this one guy was banned or not banned, if the ratio of reported people banned is really good or really bad. I don't think this guy is a statistical random sample of the entire game is all I'm sayin'.

Anyone who thinks the cheating will get better over time (less) is ignorant, sorry but it is true.
Any game that allows macroing, rather it be AFK or Attended, is bound to be the cheaters breeding ground.
I don't give a shit if macroing was aloud in UO etc, the fact is... if you allow one kind of cheating, be prepared to allow all.
Not to mention, they don't even have a way of detecting hacks. The only way to get them banned is via player report.
This game is so fucking sad. I hate to see you people blowing money on this game.

Well, ill be the devils advocate for a second here. At least adventurine is trying to break the mold a bit. Albiet it took them 8 years to do so *snicker*. But even so you have to give them props for trying.
The cheating though.. yeah... that just killed the game for many im sure. I was a bit interested, im not now. I'll be waiting for mortal online. Which will just make it worse on this game in my humble opinion. That is, if MO comes out. *shrug*

It doesn't really matter how many warning signs there have been, are, and will be. If someone has been on one side of the fence for so long there's no way he'll admit being mistaken until he gets burned himself. Many rather ignore flaws than admit they're wrong, or saying that "it'll get better in X months" as if that means anything right now.
If cheating grows rampant people will leave eventually as they get confronted with it, if it doesn't then good for them I guess. Until it does people will keep buying this garbage and hailing it as the best game of all time during all the downtime.
I usually remain silent on games I dont play, but after seeing that video on speedhacking, why even play the game in its current condition , especially a game that centric on full loot / pvp conflicts. I would say, hell, do the same back. I know fighting fire with fire never works, but if you payed $50 dollars for a game, you better get your moneys worth out of it somehow.

You were looking for videos of people hacking. Now you have them.
If you think a company will let something like this slide after 8 years in development your just silly. So, it's safe to assume one would get banned after getting caught. (aka his name reported) After all, the only thing devs would need to do is log in godmode and watch the guy a bit, walla.. got ya .. have a nice day.

It's like this because paying customers put up with it when they shouldn't. These kinds of hacks should be tested for and fixed BEFORE the game is released.
