is it just me or is there a severe lag problem in this game
everywhere i go theres endless lag

Can someone please make me a sig. I would like it to have something to do with an eagle(the bird) Somewhere near the eagle can you put the words "Global Defense Initiative". Could you also have the line "If you can't buff up, don't step up!". Thanks!

I haven't noticed any... none at all actually.
I've been kicked off a few times(like 4), but no lag.. at all.
have only had noticable lag once that i can recall

3 reasons why you are a WoW fanboi:
a) you didnt include the option to vote for NO LAG. and that's how it actually is on even the most populated servers (in contrast to WoW open beta - just check the boards)
b) your thread name is LAG!!!!! - which is no question or poll, it is a statement ment to look like a complaint
c) you didnt include ANY of your system specs. we dont know if you run this game with less than the ABSOLUT MINIMUM (official statement) of 512 MB RAM.
we dont know if you run it on UNSUPPORTED cards, like the Geforce 5200 Go
we dont know what old drivers or direct x you are using.
I have a 1700+ XP, 1 Gig RAM, and a Gefrce 4200 with 64 MB RAM. I have chars on several first day servers. NO "LAG". game runs great on "high performance".
of course, if I turn on "high quality", I suddenly have "LAG" - wow.... how strage...

wow, u got that from 20 words? Can u say paranoid? And whats your point if he is a WoW fan boy, if he wanted to turn it into another flame fest he wouldn't have asked if anyone else is recieving lag. Simmer down big guy.

Once again... no one should be playing any MMORPG at all without 1 gig of RAM.
Cause the only lag I get is when I'm walking through a portion of Queynos with more than 20 people on screen at the same time.
Other than that, in dungeons and battlegrounds, no lag whatsoever. When in the world map of Antonica, no lag whatsoever.
Oh and I did experience lag at some point when I was with this large 6 people group. When several clerics and mages cast spells at the same time, and you got lots of blinking shiny lights all on screen at the same time... yes it lags... but that's my fault cause I keep the graphics high enough so the game looks nice.

Dude I have 256 ram and the game is runnig smoothly wiithout lag.
This is totally true, it happened all of the sudden. There was no lag this morning, and now there is endless lag... What is going on. The server that I'm on is one of the newest and least populated. I have 1gig of pc3200 ram, so that's not it. And it was working perfectly earlier on Saturday. What could cause this? I've tried twice again, and it was so bad I could barely log off. Any ideas, aside from WOW fanboys, or not enough RAM?
Are you kidding me? 256 RAM????????????? Nah, I think you are crazy. You CANT play with 256 ram

I have not seen any lag at all so far. If you are experiencing any, It is almost garaunteed to be client side lag. Try turning your settings down. Especially turn off flora, my friend gained a 20+ fps from that alone. Turn off shadows too, Ive got an incredible machine, and I still dont use them because its not worth it. Then get more ram and a cable modem if you dont have one.
I haven't noticed any lag at all personally so far and I play on one of the most populated servers - Mistmoore. Try to tweak your graphical settings a bit.
I have yet to experience any lag. None. Zero. Nadda, Zilch.
I bet your lag problems are actually slow comp issues, probably accessing your hard drive because you are OUT OF RAM.
I have seen the Arctic Circle... And it is round.
3.0 P4, 9800pro 2 gig ram - 25 - 45 FPS in high quality setting
1.7 P4 512 ram ti4200 25-35 FPS extreme performance setting
FPS recorded by FRAPS on same character, same zones a few minutes apart. On the slower machine never had the least bit of lag or choppiness in 5 to 10 hours of playtime on it. Most of my playtime is on the 3.0 machine of course.

is like complaining about the graphics and low requirements of the game!
PS: It is prolly your computer or something linked to you, the requirements are REALLY high.
