I really need a good computer to run Everquest 2 but I can't find one that is real cheap! Can someone tell me where I can get one real cheap! It doesn't have to be brand new it can be used just pretty powerful?

Best bet would be to build or augment your current computer, because it'd be cheaper.
What you need:
1 gig of ram. So assuming your computer has a 512 stick in it already, just add another. (Thats 100-120$ US).
a newer 256mb graphics card, preferably Nvidia, but ATI works. I say newer, because some are not working that are older. That would be like... an X800, or a 9800 (ATI), or 6800 Nvidia.
Shop around on Pricewatch.com and you could likely get a deal. Eitherway, to fully augment your computer (to a level suitable for all games to come out), you'll definetely need 1 gig of ram, a 2 ghz processor (thats like Pentium 4, standard from several years ago), and a 256 mb video card.
So expect to set aside at least 100-500 dollars. There is no point in buying a new computer unless your wanting like an Alienware or Voodoo gaming computer, all of which are several thousands of dollars. A new Dell/Gateway will not have a good video card or ram, so I'd avoid those as well.
Ugh, i would [i[never[/i] buy a computer from Ebay, you never what your going to get. Building/upgrading your own would be the best decision, from there a local computer company could put one together for you, failing that, (i cant believe im saying this) maybe get a Dell

. my first computer was a Dell, and I wasnt too fond of it, because if I ever had a problem, customer serverice was extremly hard to get. 2nd computer, bought it from Tiger Direct , nice computer for a pretty cheap price. No major problems, except that one time when one of my CD's shattered in my CD writer drive
. If you want to buy a whole new computer, I'd go with Tiger Direct. If not, upgrading your computer wouldnt be too hard to do.
DELL SUX!!! Dell computers cannot run EQ2.
Take it from me, I work at a computer store, whenver a stupid customer brings their stupid Dell PC to get upgraded or fixed by us, we always tell them: "Sorry it's a Dell, you gotta talk to them" ... then they say they will PAY US cause Dell's service sucks so bad. 2 years ago we actually accepted a few times, but their systems are so crappy we can never fix them or find parts compatible in them. Since then, any customer that walks into our store with a Dell, we just say: "Sorry we're not certified to touch Dell PCs" and we never help them.
So automatically if anyone complains Dell's service suck, and you can't get service anywhere else except Dell. And you don't know much about PCs, then don't buy Dell.
Heck even Walmart sells better PCs than Dell. Sad but true.
