Better epic siege videos

this video was posted in other thread but is sped up time wise and shit metal music ontop. but I found this other one which is so much better filmed. so I thought it deserved its own thread, whoever uploaded didn't put a darkfall tag on it, the noob but I found it on forums.

part 2 is best but link for part 1 on same user.

and here is another video posted on forums.

    Decent videos but it doesn't do these battles justice. It is not simply  zerg on zerg, there are multiple battles and skirmishes going on everywhere. I was in the south of the hamlet (the big battle outside the town was to the north) fighting off groups of Server Police and Among the Shadows trying to infiltrate the interior of the hamlet. People who see the videos seem to claim there is no way this was up to 300 people, but I was there and it was damn close if it wasn't. Best battle I've ever been in while gaming, better ones to come though I am sure.

    I watched the other two earlier, they were actually better than the 3rd one you just posted. I mean what the heck was that guy doing? It sort of appeared that he was just running around in a circle, swinging a single attack at afk (or frozen) avatars without actually hitting (much less killing) anything. The second didn't have very much combat, but they at least it looked like something was going on.

    Played (more than a month): SWG, Second Life, Tabula Rasa, Lineage 2, Everquest 2, EvE, MxO, Ryzom.

    Tried: WoW, Shadowbane, Anarchy Online, Everquest, WWII Online, Planetside

    Beta: Lotro, Tabula Rasa, WAR.

    Just curious but I hope there is bigger "Epic" battles than these in DF. I mean the first video had what? 75 people attacking. No bigger than anything I've seen in WAR or SWG back in the day. Infact the server wide battles on Flurry for Corriban Bases was much bigger than this.

    As for the videos...they are very boring.  Running, Running, Magic balls, running, same swing animation, running, fin. Not saying the game isn't fun but I don't think the videos help.

    shadowbane was a horribly made, buggy & flaky as hell, click to move piece of shit.

    but but but... graphics and animations aren't a priority... it's the gameplay... its the freedom to create the character YOU want...

    buggy.... flaky...

    could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?
