Well at least they ban these bastards that have third party programs i hope all be banned, damn cheaters.
And they also make it harder for macroing so going right direction:)
Today we started permanently banning accounts involved in using 3d party programs to exploit. Don't be surprised if you've used these programs and your account is banned. We'll continue doing this every day while simultaneously attacking these issues at their source.

Yeah, eve war that wasnt as much client side got hacked.
So this "game" made by a company thats a big joke stands no chance against hackers.
Their only solution is to sell the game to soe and see it become a cash shop game

so, it's a game that you have to macro in order to progress thru repetitive bullshit; but you can't use a macroer to accomplish these boring tasks?
so... since you could get by some of that boredom in UO... that means, instead of next gen, this game is pre-uo gen?

Unless I read fanbois wrong earlier, you can macro but only if you are in front of your screen. So basically you can macro but you have to watch it macro LOL. I guess it's called "attended macroing". So it just makes you even more lazy so that you don't have to move your arms or have a functioning brain, you can just eat hot pockets while you macro..
Nice to see some action in the direction of banning accounts that are using 3rd party programs, about bloody time.
I hope to start to list how many accounts have been banned, this might show everyone exactly how widespread the problem is.
from the looks of theyr banning people left and right without even looking into it and just going with anyones youtube video etc and that would make you wonder if you wanna give them your money
They're probably banning all players they've got lol! You have to be a serious gamer to try to get through those horrible lines to buy the freaking game!

attended macroing is allowed, my guess is that they send you a message and if u respond you can go on ur happy way. while im not sure the difference (if ur watchin urself shoot MM or not does that really matter?) i think players themselves take care of the macroing problem. Since its not allowed in town, people can just kill you and stop ur macroing if they want. I think this method is enough but... meh w/e.
I see macroing as dumbing down the game, u want to just start off powerful and not have to work to achieve it? do you also put in godmode every new single player game you buy just to beat it? but besides that if you just macro something up ur not instantly gonna have the money to use the better spells/weapons that are now avalible to you.

Why is this true? Because in a game like Darkfall, macroing kills the spirit of it.
The idea is to go OUTSIDE, and FIGHT other people. By fighting and using your skills, you level them up and get stronger. You may die in the process to someone who is more advanced than you, but isn't the the fun of the game? Not knowing if you can beat them or not? Or beating someone when through better tactics?
I guess for some people, macroing is the "safe way" to do it before going out to fight. No wonder they get bored of the game in the first month; they've been sitting in town for 3/4 of that month! I usually never blame a subscriber, but in this case, if you are bored with this, it's because you clearly are playing Darkfall wrong. It's not a Open Macro Pvp game. If it is for you, it's because you downloaded or made a program that made it that way.
Get out of the city. Stop shooting missiles at trees while playing with your dog or washing your car. Stop hiding and get out there and contribute to the action. Go out naked if you're scared to lose items. Or quit. Adventurine making you macro? Please.. I didn't know they were that powerful to tell you to sit in town and not participate in the world.
You are obviously holding up a spot for someone else to get in and play, while you macro bore yourself to death. Get outside, stop hiding.
