I got dizzy when playing Darkfall. If anyone interested with my account, you can email or pm me. I'll sell cheaper than retail price, just want some money back. Thanks
P.S Still in active for 30 days. I just got it today.
SOme people will have that reaction to first person games.
Darkfall is partially first person and as such may make it difficult for certain people to play it.
Sorry to hear that you have this problem.
(I kinda felt that way at first, but have actually gotten used to it. I just need to go into melee mode when I am inside buildings, especially when going up winding stairways...).
Some people just get vertigo when playing fps games, some people just get that for few games. Usually high framerates makes it worse - I never was able to finish Half-Life 1 but it has been the only game so far that made me dizzy, I am assuming that they used some funny texturizing in HL1.
I had this experience in a few games I've played. Mostly FPS games...get dizzy and feel like I'm falling into the monitor. Oddly enough the first game I just absolutely could not play was the first Spyro The Dragon game. Man...I looked at the screen for longer then 5 minutes I felt like I was drunk. I never tried another of that series after that.
This is no joke, it happens to a lot of people so don't feel bad OP. On a couple of FPS's over the years I've gotten terrible migraines. It's eye stress. Also bad game and control design. lol
I have the same problem. It's a reason why I avoid fps games that simulate moving.
Especially features such as head bobbing and automatic turning camera follow modes are a cause for me. When I turn of head bobbing and select a camera mode where I am in full control of the cameras movement (if possible in the game) then I do not have this problem.
If it is possible to change these options in DF, then you could give that a try.

There is no such option in Darkfall, that I have found.
You have first person, for archery, magic and npc interaction.
Third person for melee and harvesting. Camera is fixed in third person and is based on what you are looking specifcally at.

I had same when my gf plays new Tomb Raider. Could be something with your frame rate, switch the shadows off and check your fps.
I can only confirm that many people feel dizzy from certain games. Like me, for example, I feel sick after playing Quake for around 10min, I simply should stay away from fps games.
I was thinking about pm-ing the op for the game, but on a second thought, if the camera is static and you can't change it, then I'd better not touch Darkfall. Having your head spinning is not a pleasant feeling.
Playing: Xsyon. Played: Tried: Ultima Online, Everquest 2, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Flyff, Perfect World, Silkroad Online, EVE Online, Ryzom.

Half Life and Lord of the Rings Online do this to me. Both give me a wicked headache.
not only does the game look like shit, it also makes you ill? great.
I'm interested in your account. What should I do?

I couldn't play excite bike.
The tracks made me feel dizzy and I couldn't see them right.
Only game I ever had problems playing.
Other then that I'm absolutely loving DF.
I'm the same with Half Life aswell, really bad headache which is a shame as I was enjoying the game up until that happened.
