I have just one questiong tho, or maybe its 3, anyway,  can i get banned because i am not playing from korea? do i need to use a proxy service to hide my ip? 

also i heard there is an "english patch" for the game, will i get banned by using this?

    As far as the English patch goes, if you can get it to work, let me know how. Everyone else says it doesnt work/its for an older client.

    i am pretty sure, people will figure out how to get the patch to work soon enough.

    ok 2 things.  You are not going to get banned for being in America. This specific question Khutch6 and I actually discussed between us. I currently play from US right now as does he. I have yet to use the Korean VPN. The game is now in retail stage in Korea. The only reason I can see you being banned is if you cause a problem. I have been playing for 2 weeks now and have had no problems wiht updates, downloads, or connecting and logging in.    Second, the english patch only will work for your Log-in page, menus, and certain things in the GUI. It will not work for quests, mobs and other server side things. Nor is it a complete translation.. So if you odnt like being in the dark with questing, then you're not going to enjoy it. Otherwise if you are comfortable looking up stuff and either relying on others to have a translation or trying google translator, then you will be fine.  Also the game is totally worth it. haha!

    I just got in yesterday.  I used an english name and right away I could see that was a mistake.  People were aproaching me and of course i couldn't understand a word.  Then a red named character ran up to me in town and started hiting me.  I thought, oh this the pvp, this guy is an enemy.  I thought, great this will be fun, i took a step back and nuked him, expecting the other allies around me to attack him.  My nuke did like zero damage and nobody else did anything to him.  Well he was hitng me real soft so i just loled.  My HP was getting down a bit so i rooted him and nuked from distance.  He then hit me with some spell that brought my hp to near zero so i ran like hell. lol

    Anyway i don't know what that was all about.  GM?  Greifer on non koreans?  But I loged out and made a new character with a korean name.  And nobody bothers me since.

    And no i don't use VPN.  If they don't want my money then they can go ahead and ban me.
