I agree totally. The community is one of the worst there is but it's the community, it makes itself and it's only as good as the people who are there.

If everyone with half a brain leaves because they can't stand the little kids, it'll never get any better.

FFS, yes. I love forums, but not the RuneScape forum...

Man, the runescape forums. Did you notice they remove the rants section? What a bunch of idiots. Critisism is good, especially coming from those long term players.

    Rants are not criticism.

I created an account a few days and think the graphics is really terrible. Now I am totally lost the interest. It is said that java based programs have the benefit of portability while C/C++ based programs have the benefit of efficiency.

    Hey,

Are you playing SD (standard definition) or HD (high definition)?

  • SerriaSerria Member Posts: 33

Oh, they still have SD running? I am not sure, I tried it at mmosite. It doesn't say.

Well said. Ill take note of that.

Yeah they have both options still. When you click through to the RS homepage from mmosite it allows you to choose which option you want when you log in (SD is default).

HD runs fine on my machine and I don't have a great spec.

You know what..I totally agree with you there. Runescape certainly gets a A++++ when it comes to portablity, compatibility, and reqs!  Hell I can even play it on my dell inspiron 7000 with 128 mb ram, 98se, and a p2 366mhz processor, all while listening to prank audio clips!

  • acephaloidacephaloid Member Posts: 31

    Yeah.

I love how I can do multiple things at once whilst playing and I can afk any time. Not like WoW players who need a catheter fitted because they can't go to the toilet!

Also being able to kill a few minutes anywhere in the world is cool.

I think MechScape will have this same portability too seeing as Jagex prefer to make browser-based games.

So, I have a simple question for you. What do you do on RS these days, and what motivates you to do so? After you answer, this you could ask me some questions too, if you want to.
