You can't go sending naked pics of people around and expect nothing to happen, but being labeled a sex offender until he is 43 is a little harsh.
It will show up as just a sex offender, people usually think rape or molestation with that label. It will basically ruin his chances to get a decent job. Possibly have a normal life.
Just think that this is getting blown way out of proportion, as usual.
Edit* I am talking about all of them, not just the first guy. Being labeled a sex offender for sending a pic of yourself, even more ridiculous.

Ok, that guy was a prime example of a dumbass. Who the hell in their right mind would send pics of a naked 16 year old to 70 people including her parents and grandparents? I mean, WTF. Like he wasn't expecting some type of hardass recourse to develop from that??
And yes, I agree with Teala. That guy was justifiably charged. You don't transmit nude pics of teens....even if you are a teen yourself. I still cannot get over how retarded he is. Im still baffled over the fact that he sent the nude pics to her parents and grandparents and thought nothing serious would happen

theres risks that you take when sending naked pictures, and theres also risks from spreading those picture around. But, the consequence for her is she can put it behind her, not have any legal problems. he on the other hand is screwed
Teens shouldn't be sending nekkid pics of themselves anyway. Until you are of age (which may vary in some places) I'd recommend not sending anyone any pictures you are not comfortable with.

I was wondering when someone was going to start a thread with this subject. This can be a serious problem with serious consequences. There's a case where an 18 year old girl, named Jesse Logan, commited suicide because she sent some naked pictures of herself to her boyfriend and when they broke up, he made them public. The humiliation was overwhelming. I know there aren't very many women on this forum, but for those that are, if I were you, I would never send naked pictures of myself to anyone unless I was a happily married to a guy who I trusted completely. Unless, as Teala said, that kind of thing doesn't bother you at all.

its the girls fault just as much as the guys imo (who the guys s in most cases from what I've seen on the news is innocent anyway, unless he distributes them)

Of course the girl is at fault here as well...ans she should be punished as well. Teens should not be doing this - period. They are not adults. I think they guy's a moron but the girl is 16, and she sent nude photos while they were dating, that's the world for you nowadays, I bet their relationship was as deep as a puddle, in the Sahara desert, in the summer. I think the guy didn't deserve that bad of a punishment though, I mean a lot people probably appreciated them photos...LOL.
