in Everquest II
Ive heard that people playing with 512 ram have problems running EQ2. But i realise those people play in ultra-popular servers (eg Mistmoore, Runnyeye, Befallen, Antonia Bayle)
I have 512 ram......... will I be able to play without many problems in less popular servers? (Lavastorm, Highkeep, Oggok)
My connection is DSL 256 kbps

So get it and try it. Don't take my word as a fanbois or anyones eles who is a slambois/WoW fanbois. Get some gnads. 50 skins is not the end of the world. The wife plays on a 512 machine and never complains at extreme performance settings. However I come home from work and she is logged onto her char on MY machine..grrrrrr!, and I end up playing on her box until she can pry herself away to make dinner. Moral of the story is never get your wife hooked on vudeo games.

My girlfriend has 512mb ram and we were able to tweak the settings just right to get very little to no lag, she has a
-amd 2200 xp
-Geforce FX 5200
-512mb ram
runs pretty smooth, and we are on a very high populated server, i have 1.5gb ram and an ati radeon 9800pro, and i have no lag problems at all really.

Currently waiting for the planned 'upgrades' for my main pc to arrive and I am playing the game on this machine:
amd 2700 xp
ati radeon 9200 SE
512 mb
I had EQ II 'online' on that machine from 10am till 2am yesterday, only the last hour or so I started having problems with really bad lag.
I'm on Blackburrow btw.
