This is the worse comunity and the useless forums i have ever seen.
I just can belive what u can read there and the moderators just dont exist.

Well I disagree with the forum comment being useless, a forum is a forum at the end of the day and there are lots of people in thier which must be a good thing.
But I agree with the worst community comment. They cannot refrain from flaming genuine players of the game that have had enough of playing a bug ridden game and have genuine dislike for the way it plays.
Several threads I have read today consituted in some players feeling the game was not to thier liking after trying it and we're called all sorts by the rest of the darkfall community...even called a retard? What the hell is that? calling someone a retard because they don't like the game you play?
Its very sad that there are so many people like this in the world and an even bigger shame that they mostly play Darkfall and use the anonimity of the internet to act like total spacktards.

No-one cares what is said on MMORPG.com - everyone knows it's not representative of the MMO community.
An official forum however is a good way of judging what the community is like for a game. And Darkfall's sucks.

Just one more sad angry DF apologist who can't stand that most gamers find his beloved game to be completely mismanaged, poorly programmed garbage populated largely by the sorts of players we're grateful to no longer have to see in other games.

I did. And what? Not considering it's a usual stupid message which are 10 out of 12 on every forum, people there can at least more or less freely express what they think. And forums like mmorpg.com are all about trolling and nothing more. It's up to you what you prefer...
It does look like Darkfall has become catnip for whooping epeen strokers. I can't believe that thread, from the OP to the responders, it's like a kindergarten with no teacher.

Even the ones who try to appear educated and impartial come across as superior and snotty.
While it might be thought unfair to measure a game by the responses of a few idiots that frequent a forum about it, I still have seen far fewer considered, informed, thoughtful posts about Darkfall and more "Wow there were 100s of us all kicking hte sh*t out of each other and there was blood and sh*t and intestines and, just wow!"
Call me a carebear, even though the games i have loved most in my play time were heavily PvP, and i had such great hopes for darkfall, but this doesn't appeal.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I know which forum I prefer. If you feel so passionately that mmorpg.com is "all about trolling and nothing more" why even bother coming here? Save yourself the aggro and move on, I'm sure we'll manage without you.
Using a term like "dorkfail" makes me place you in a bad community category as well.
Not to mention it makes no sense. "Dorkfail" implies they "fail" at being "dorks". Therefore they are not dorks.

Please understand, forum posters (both here and on DF official forums) are radicalized. Both pro and con.
This is not the community. MOst DF players dont bother.
HOwever I will add, I find it amusing that even the DF forums are PvP.

The darkfall community forums were fine until the 09ers made accounts. All they do is whine, bitch, cry, and nerd rage. I can't stand the Darkfall forums anymore. All they are good for now are for baiting nerd ragers and rick rollin' all those idiots.

Which, in Darkfall's defense, is what happens in every official forum when the game is released. After time the morons move on to the next game to bash and cry leaving those who enjoy the game to their own.

But considering Darkfall's development, I would have to say the current in-game community is made up of most the "hardcore" followers that have been following the game for a while. We already know that a few thousand(?) made it in from "Beta" through early pre-orders, and that the rest of the pre-orders was more than likely the other "followers" that had the drive to do the F5 mini-game otherwise known as Pre-Oredering.
Sure, there are some others thrown in there. And they are the ones getting hammered by the Forumfallers becasue unlike other MMORPG's, if you want to find out ANYTHING about the game, you are pretty much forced to go to the forums.
This goes right back to why an updated, informative website is important. Especially after a game has launched.

Most typical MMORPG players never post on a forum. I agree that Darkfall may be atypical, but how much is impossible to say.
Interesting.. AV allow posts like that yet I have seen intelligent posts dissapear quickly because they are criticisms of DF along with reasons why the game failed to keep that particular subscriber.
DF community are the pits though I completly agree. Mind ouy if you look @ eve forums they can be quite vicious but there lots of nice helpful people on the help channel in game. But those fourms.. ugh all I can say.
