My Quandry (guildless)

in Everquest II

I started out playing on Befallen and was going to join the guild Delolation. I was all excited to be in the guild in the early days. Well, It turns out all my RL friends were already on Antonia Bayle. Feeling torn, I chose to play on that server (as I would take constant real life greifing if I didn't). Now I am left guildless. There are seven or eight of us and if we are all on, there wont be enough room for all of us in a group.

So this is my situation. I have not seen any guilds on AB at all. Not one. Other than AFK or LFG. ::::01:: However, I don't think the guild shows up if you are in /role mode.

If there are any Guild leaders out there?

    Well with 7-8 friends , you could start your own guild ( oh and 60 sp I think )

    I think playing with real life friends is overrated unless you have the same schedule and can play in the same room or with Teamspeak. Aside from that, what is the real difference in the game between real life friends and everyone else? They all are just avatars at the end of the day!

    Best thing is find other skilled players that share the same schedule as you and play with them--knowing them in real life or not.

    There are only two guilds really worth joining in Befallen at the moment, besides one that you may join because of friends. They are the Brethen of Norrath and Desolation. But the BoN is such a large guild that it may disband into several other guilds. Guilding is not really important but it is a fun factor in the game.

    I really wanted to be on Befallen with the Desolation guild, but my friends would give me too hard of a time if i played on a different server than them. I may not play with them most of the time, that's why i am look for a guild on AB so I will have someone to play with all the time. Besides, most of my friends are power levellers and I am not. I play at my own pace as to not miss anything that the game has to offer. I also like to roleplay, which is kind of a contradiction to power levelling. IMHO.

    Most drops from lvl 14+ will sell for one silver or more and those drops can be common.

    Dunno what level you are but I'd wait until at least 20, and at least another 30 days or so, until things pan out on your server. Don't forget, this game has been retail for less than a week and some people havent even gotten their orders yet. A lot of the newer guilds dont even have websites. You can join an interim guild now, but wait for a bit and keep an eye on the guild stats in EQ2players to see who's who.

    That is awsome...I glad no one has 100 pp already like in EQ live.  I hated the infation in that game.

    SONY was smart. High level items and translators are costly so you always need to be buying and spending money. Inflation will take awhile to kick in. A lot of people already have GPs, though.
