How or where can you buy or join this game?
I really shouldn't join another MMO but I am interested in the open world element of this game and my curiosity has got the better of me.
I just went to their website and I know they are releasing the game in stages but there is absolutely no information on how a person can join this game. Even a message stating the agreed roll out. So I am feeling a bit annoyed.
Can anyone help?

Go to the News section of the forum and look for the Account Management post.
They won't be releasing any new accounts until they increase the server capacity though.....but just so you know, accounts generally go on sale at 7PM GMT
This is how you get the game....
1. You mail Tasos a letter praising him like a god, even though he is a liar and a bull$%^* artist.
2. Tasos mails you a pair of his dirty socks.
3. After you recive the dirty socks of Tasos in the mail, you suck them clean for a whole week.
4. After the whole week of sucking, you mail the socks back to Tasos.
5. If Tasos feels that his socks are clean enough, you will be graced with being able to purchase the game.

Only on weekdays, not on weekend (at least not yet).

The queue times players are experiencing during prime-time hours the last couple of days are only temporary. They are due to the large number of new players that have entered the game this week. This made us reach a threshhold. Everyone wants to be online a lot, and to add to this, the starting areas are congested. It does help to bind away from the starting areas but currently during prime-time hours this isn't enough to avoid the queues.
We expect to have queuing issues this weekend especially around prime-time hours, but starting next week you will see a vast improvement as we considerably upgrade the capacity of our server cluster.
We apologize for the queuing and we want you to know that we're working non-stop to eliminate it. In the meanwhile we won't offer more copies of the game until this is resolved early next week.
^Really dumb imo since Spring break for alot of US Colleges happen next week. =P

I really, realy hope you not trolling because i have you for a smart poster and not a troll ...(my apologies for the lack of trust ..but a lot of trolling "where can i buy" posts today)

Thanks Darth this is what I wanted. I do think they missed a trick here though. I was expecting to go to their website and see a big sign on the front page stating how to purchase the game etc. For players that are not clued up about their circumstances they may think its not for sale and move on. BTW you hope right, no troll here, just interested in playing
Ok I have created an account and it shows the store is closed, which I expected. However as an observation they need to sort out their client download. You can only download via torrent and a lot of people including me don't use a torrent. Either way I download a torrent program and now I have to set that up, which I haven't done. Bottom line, if someone is looking to play this game and they have to go through all these steps then a lot will just drop the idea of playing.
I understand the game comes from an indy company but they need to sort out stuff like this really quick otherwise they will lose the interest of players waiting to play like me.

Better to make the skeptics wait til they get their issues worked out. Because people rarely come back after a painful first experience. If you're really super interested you'll wait like many have done for past few yrs hehe
Yea your right. In a way I am happy to sit this one out and wait for them to iron out all the obvious bugs and loading times. I am enjoying AoC right now and just signed up to LotRO and would like to advance through that. If DF stabilises then its a much nicer experience.
I was there at the very start for VG and that wasn't a great experience...
Its still in paid beta.

Don't even give Aventurine the chance to use the 'indy company' excuse... Because it isn't an excuse.
Quite frankly, there is NO excuse that for releasing a game when the servers can't hold it and isn't ready for launch. All you do is lose money and publicity points. If you need money, get a loan. If the bank denies your loan due to reasons dealing with the game and your track record, your game is probably going to fail anyway.
In the current economy, the loan will be almost impossible to get, but Aventurine got $26,000,000 a year and a half ago, and god knows that didn't go where it needed to be.
