I have been taking part in the WoW closed beta since it began in Europe and i have been incredibly happy with it so far.
It is coming out in the US in the next few weeks so i thought that it will probably come out in europe a week or two later. BUT NO!!! Apparently us europeans aren't as important as you american people so the make us wait, longer and longer and each day i end up dying a little inside. (exagerated)
Anyway just thought i would mention how upset i am

Waste all of your money and move to the Americas. But then, you wouldn't have enough money to buy a computer or the game. What a conundrum you are facing.
Anyway, February isn't all that bad. Just what, 3 months later? You can wait. And isn't closed beta Europe going to stay on through January?
If you dont like how WoW treats you, maybe you should find yourself a european game.

It is because all great MMO's come from America, except Saga of Ryzom, but is it good? Some sites says, however, that WoW will be released the 17th of Dec in Europe, but I guess thats wrong.
Blizzard is in the USA, so it makes since that the game launches in North America first. I'm not sure why it's coming to Australia and New Zealand before Europe though.

In 1990 Europe was 40% of the international economy. 20% for NA, 20% for the Asians Dragons...20% for the rest. But on Internet, Malkavian is right.
But Internet is not as developped in Europe saddly(yes, as many Europeen have access to Internet if not more, but usually for short time or on publics/sucky computers, a NA on the internet is more often the owner of a ''uber'' computer). To play a MMORPG, you dont need to own a computer, but it is a major factor affecting the choice of a MMORPG or another game.

No need for proxy, there is no IP blocking. But you need US billing address (that mean CC issued by US bank probably)

Well personally i am yet to see a rationale explaination for the feb date for WoW.Thankfully SoE has thought of europeans and i am having a lag free low ping time on a east coast server in EQ2 and having a blast.
And they even put downtimes in GMT and PST and have found a good time off peak for it.7am PST which is 3pm GMT.
So if blizzard thinks my money can wait for them my pockets says no it goes to those that consider europe .

bleh You should be happy you are in the closed beta and able to play. Once the NA Open Beta ends I have to wait a loooong time before I can play again.

Ive played CB US but ill wait untill euro comes dont matter to me maybe more bugs are out when it reach euro zone.
But yes i was lucky to play CB US so no complaining here.
