So... I just saw Watchmen, and 20min into the movie I noticed a family ushering their group of tots out of the theater. Any parents who bring their kids to this R rated movie without reading a single review and think it'll be kid friendly just because there are guys running around in rubber suits, well they deserve to have the image of Dr. Manhattan's giant glowing blue penis forever burned into their children's memories.

I lol'd. I've read many reviews of people complaining about that movie and saying it's not for Children but ye I agree that people need to read reviews when they want to go see R rated movies with kids.
The parents are either just stupid enough to let their kid's go see it without checking if its acceptable for kids,
or they just don't care.

I will have to admit... I couldn't stop staring at Dr. Manhattans penis. I mean, it's just this huge blue dangling glowing orb of reproduction.. and I am not gay. I did feel violated by the silver screen.
so, shooting a pregnant woman is OK for children to see but a penis (not even erect) is not?
Um depending on the age of the child I wouldn't think either is a good idea... I can just see the 5 year olds running around nekkid with blue body paint all over themselves with a bee bee gun shooting at people ... lol
Keep in mind that little ones act out what they see, it is already hard enough to keep the clothes you put on them on as it is without them trying to run down the street nekkid! I know they were chasing me all the time trying to clothe me! lmao
In terms of creating false expectation and setting young girls up for disapointment, Dr. Manhattan has done for the penis what Barbie did for head size. Parental guidance suggested.

Yes, it is the parents' fault. Any idiot can hop on google and type "Watchmen Review", well apparently not every idiot. Too bad they didn't stay for the pregnant shooting or the cleaver fun.
Before anyone gets up-in-arms over those scenes, I condone all of it and encourage people to practice the majority of the scenes (except the dull ones) from this movie in their everyday lives.

It never fails to amaze me. Parents bring there young children in to see a movie targeting the parents age group. Parents get disgusted with their children seeing the imagies in said movie. They then go on their crusade to critize the movie makers for warping their children.
Some people have children then suddenly the world must suddenly revolve around their kids. Like "my" children are the only thing out there.
Was ordering food at a airport stand not long ago, I went to the bathroom and a buddy of mine was waiting for our order to get ready. While I was gone our order was put on the counter and my buddy went to get it, some 6 year old kid came up and started digging in my food, both hands in and mangling my poor sandwich. My buddy then started glaring at his mother in a "do somthing about this" look. She got angry at my buddy and told him to "F*&^ off, he is only a kid".
Stupid people make stupid kids I guess.
lol..its ok for little boys as they have one also though its not huge and not blue, younger girls like age of 4 would be ok as they probably on have seen their dads maybe sometime in their life. The junior high and little bit older kids might have a problem with it and ruin their life..really parents should check every movie review even if its G Rated

I really liked the scene where the Comedian kills a pregnant woman in front of Dr manhattan. What i like is how manhattan is about to ask the Comedian why he did it when the commedian jumps in and points out that he could ahve stopped him from killing her at any point. then he points out that Manhattan doesant really care at all about people and you can see it by the way he casually looks at the dead woman before leaving the bar.
