Hey I just started playing a few nights ago and actually have to say that I find myself really liking this game but at the same time I think it would be a little better if I new exactly what the hell I was doing half the time.  I am following the guide on the website but that's just for quest lines and such.  I would like to find a guild that is helpful enough so I can learn all the aspects of the game and not feel lost all the time.  i am sure it would enhance the game alot more if i had some people to talk to and help me.  Thanks and hope someone can help me out.

Oh and i'm on the Mari sever.

Lucky you for being on the Mari Server. I am not ina guild but I am willing to help you start out on the game and with pretty much everything till you get the hang of it yourself.

My name on there is Zikoro and I usually hang out around Channel 1, if you need any help, just add me and I'll set you up with weapons and clothes.

Watch this video and people will be more likely to mistake you for a good player than anything else.   You'll probably even live longer than some of the power-rebirthed people that I've met in Pugs.

    Basic combat mechanics explained

    edit:

also go through this so you only die of your own accord instead of your character thinking for itself and doing a bad job at it:

    Setting yourself up for combat:

First things first press the 'a' button once. Check to make sure you're in manual mode. If you are in automatic mode your character will try to think for itself and do a really bad job at it.

Next go to game settings and options/game play and set your reservere attack option to once or none. This will make it so that if you click extra times your character doesn't try to think for itself again.

Then enable control targeting. This will let you use/hold the left control button to let you target stuff without actually clicking on it.

figure out what can be loaded mid animation.   What this means is along the lines of using the defense/counter/windmill skill in the middle of your final attack swing so that it loads faster.   Or in the case of windmill activating the healing/defense skill halfway through the animation.   Each skill has stuff that you can activate in the middle of it's animation so it loads faster and is a very important combat aspect.

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
