LFGame that is easy to get to max level.

I don't have as much free time as I used to now so I'm looking for a new game that doesn't require a lot of time to get level capped so I can start doing the fun stuff earlier. More interested in PvP, preferably open world type but that's not too important. Also prefer P2P game. I've quit WoW after 3 years and also own Guild Wars but didn't enjoy it very much because all the PvP was instanced.

I played Conquer Online a few years back and I found it to be awesome but the people who used the in game shop had a huge advantage over those that didn't which is why I prefer P2P games these days. If anyone can suggest any games that are similar to Conquer or fit the above criterior, your help is greatly appreciated.

Also, if you don't mind, please provide a ballpark figure of how long it would take to get max level and whether the game is hugely gear dependent or not.

Well you don't completely specify what type of game you're looking for, so here goes:

    MMORPGS:

RF Online: If you avoid pvp in this game then you are truly in the wrong place. You have 3 races at war with each other and they certainly raid one another constantly. To me the gear and levels come fairly easy, but you do need to spend some time leveling your skills by using them all. Also any character level 28 and under can participate in a scheduled war among the 3 races. (Slightly gimped character would take 1-2 weeks max to hit max level)

Lineage 2: A much slower game, but is entirely open world pvp. Just ctrl + click a person and you just started world war 3. Not entirely sure about the leveling rate on the paid servers. (Probably would take up to a month, but you ought to find other low levels to fight)

Warhammer Online: I must day I didn't care for this that much, but the pvp is pretty much ready for you from the moment you log in. It might be what you're looking for. (If you can stand the game I give you 3-6 weeks to be rank 40)

    MMOFPS/TPS(Shooters):

These always quench my thirst for pvp in that it's pretty much instant gratification.

Gunz: The Duel: Good game, but you'd have to devote time to learning a thing called kstyle to ever stand a chance. (About 2 good weeks of playing will have you among the better players)

S4 League: Great game and fairly balanced, but suffers some lag. I play this quite a bit currently and love the ability to move easily and fit my weapons to my playstyle. (Being totally new to this will probably have you among the low levels for a week to 2 weeks tops)

LIneage 2 is one of the longer grinds to max level.

Maybe EvE might be for you.  The skills system pretty much means you dont have to put much effort into skilling up your character and PvP is viable from a week or two of play (granted you are forced into a certian aspect of PvP).

    MMO wish list:

    -Changeable worlds
    -Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

Yeah I only listed Lineage 2 because the pvp can happen anywhere, anytime. That and I honestly don't know the real experince rate *cough*.

Try Lord of the Rings online.

Thanks for the replies so far. Sorry I didn't mention the type of game. I am looking for a RPG game. I'm tempted to try Warhammer Online and Eve but Eve seems kind of wierd playing from a spaceship. I'm dling the trial as we speak. Is it true that the Warhammer community is dieing? The game seems pretty cool.

I read somewhere that it's mainly PvE focused?

I played WAR a month after it's release and quit 3 weeks into it. Their really was no low level community and everyone was saying, and still say, that the endgame is horrible. It's only reedeming quality is that you can join pvp scenarios from the moment you log in.
