I would say that it's worth it, it didn't get 7,8 score because of nothing.
If you liek the other FF games you will like this when you enter the story (after some weeks of fighting and money making)
But FF is a 50/50 game where 50% like it 20% don't like it that much 30% hates it because either they've never played or they are too stupid to understand the game itself. FFXi is complicated and takes a lot of time.
Everyone complains about how slow it is to lv, but it doesn't get very slow until lv 30. in two days I made it to vl 10, then I did a PT with 1lv/h until lv 20 so it goes kinda fast if you do it right. Besides, thos who think you level are all cheaters. They don't fight to get strong, they don't want to earn the money. Thye jsut want it all by doing almost nothing
