Frequent Maintenance: What's Causing This?

As most of you guys know, AO had been having frequent maintenance and emergency maintenances that lead them to release an unexpected 150% experience bonus, and coupled with the weekend bonuses, these amount to 4 days of hard leveling to make for the lost gaming time.
So this lead me to the question why is AO having so much trouble this week, which is unusual for a game reliable as AO? All I had been hearing is that there is a technical difficulty that their IT team is fixing. But I guess, it maybe more. They may be fixing some major flaw or bug. Althouhg, currently Mycenae is the only server undergoing another emergency maintenance. All other servers are working fine.
Sorry about this thread, I dont know how to pass the time in such maintenances. lolz.

hahaha.. we have all the same feelings when it come's to server maintenance... we cannot pinpoint to them that there not doing there jobs well... but in exchange they give us 150% exp bonus... may be cause they had to change some minor problems or change in the server may be... that's why were experience maintenance...
i think they do this frequent maintenance because they want to improve the game for us, have you notice in mycenae server is no more lag in my experience this week
that for sure is a game distraction..
but you know after having a maintenance the game really gets
better.. so it's really not a problem for me..
better to have maintenance to improve the game than having a bug or lag..
i guess so. they are probably just making things perfect for us players. i hope these maintenances do lessen these coming days. i would really love to level-up my character right away. i'm currently at level 90.

because most of the players are being bothered by this kind of action
but this can also give the players quality plying time without the bug and lag...
Yeah, i think their fixing a lot of problem...specially those gold seller, bugs, and other systems that they want to improve..
But it's irritating that everday there's a maintenance hope thay they just schedule it per week and just fix the problem with the maintenance schedule only... maybe there a major problem that they want to fix immediately...

I think part of it was also daylight savings time.

why is day light savings time contributed to frequent maintenances last week? enlighten me please. hehe
As long as they are compensating for these problems with the server it is fine with me.
i hate maintenance ang more lags damn it! Its really annoying...

Sometimes the lag is caused by your internet connection and not the actual server itself. It is okay for me to have maintenance, I get to do other things haha.
