I have played the trial for 3days now and I must say that I am impressed. So I am planning to buy the game and start doing some seruis gaming, but before that I got some questions though.
1. Will I be able to transfere the char I am playing with in the trail to another server?-could only play on a "core" server (dont even know what that is^^) but I would really want to play on a open RVR server. Playing the game for pvp, so there are no reason to shy away from it^^
2. What server (open rvr server) would you recommend? would like a high pop server, with lots of active pvp guilds ofcourse
3. Any last warning for people who have played the game for a long time? is it worth playing and investing time into in the long run? how is the endgame? does it feel like the battlefield is alive etc?
Edit: would be awsome if there were any active high pop openRVR/RP server, as I have always loved doing some RP... I have heard that that kind of servers are kinda dead though?

No one knows?... and here I thought it was all very basic questions...
1) Character is stuck on the server you rolled on, unless they do more server merges. Even then, core -> core, RVR -> RVR. You're going to have to reroll if you want to be on an ORVR server.
2) Dark craig is the most populated ORVR server in the US. We (Order) own the server right now, destruction used to, it will probably switch back with people coming back.
3) Don't rush to the end. This game isn't built like WoW. Here are a couple of examples, especially if you roll on an RVR server:
a) The scenarios you do (warhammer equivalent of battle grounds) are unique per race, per tier, and at tier 4, per zone. You can't go back and do tier 1 scenarios once you are in tier 2 (level wise), so enjoy them.
b) On RVR servers, you can only go down 1 tier (to prevent griefing). For instance, I, as a lvl 40 tier 4 character, attempts to enter tier 1, I turn into a chicken and can be "1 shotted". This means, any unlocks you want (lore, achievements, etc) you can't get once you leave the tier. Core servers, as far as I know, don't have this problem because they can only pvp in the rvr lakes, as opposed to anywhere and everywhere.
c) Find a guild early on, it makes the game more enjoyable, plus you help that guild level up. You probably won't be able to find one until your 20's though, unless you join Ruin.
d) If you roll on dark crag, don't join Ruin, Rhuin, or any of their sister guilds. (Standard server drama).
e) If you take your time, by the time you exhaust the end game tiered dungeons, and perhaps even tire of pvp, they will have added the new pvp/pve zone where you pvp for control of pve content.
thanks for the reply
Would you say that there are more Chaos then order btw?
I have always found myself liking the "weaker" side- feels like there are more to fight for^^
But I have heard that the tendencies from wow (always more alliance side) is the exact opposite in WAR?
For a long time, chaos out numbered order. In general, chaos has had more numbers for a very long time. The difference is once we broke their back, they stopped playing. The main difference is, everyone in order knew going into it they would lose often because of numbers. Destruction simply couldn't handle the situation reverse. However, with people coming back, and the popularity of the destruction classes, I think destruction will have a numeric advantage again soon. Everyone is waiting for the new pvp/pve zone, I think that will be the "magic" patch. Everything else has been focused on classes and fixes.
1. You can transfer your trial char so long as its below level 11. To any of the higher pop servers.
2. Dark Crag for Open RvR. Badlands for Core. Phoenix Throne for RP.
3. I just started playing the game too.
Caution: Open-RvR servers suck for RvR lakes. You get pummeled by higher level chars that go down a tier. If you're level 8 and go in a RvR lake, level 20-21's are going to rape you. Same thing for every tier until you get to tier 4, then it's fair.
